It's right next to a VOTOMS stand, so it'll either be Bandai or Kotobukiya. I just hope it'll be in 1/144 scale, in scale with all the Gundam kits I've got. Or else 1/72 scale --in scale with my planes or my (two) Armored Core kits.

Kotobukiya seems more likely though only for one specific reason that may or may not be a factor. Basically it's just that I have a hard time imagining Aniplex calling up Bandai and saying "Yeah I know our lead studios president said this project is going to surpass your biggest cash cow and all but can you help us make the plastic models for this" because neither side really saves face that way. Then again it's not entirely out of the question because the competitive aspect is between Aniplex and Bandai Visual (publishing) more than Bandai Namco Holdings (manufacturing) which actually has kind of a decent working relationship with Aniplex to the point where they seem to have zero qualms with just licensing out something like the anime rights to iDOLM@STER to them. I still don't know why they would do that unless they're just pulling the strings anyway, but that's a whole other matter lol

Right now I'm just wondering about the model kits in and of themselves because none of the designs from the show at this point stand out as something I'd really want to build. I'm not sure if that's because I truly find the designs from the show ugly and gimmicky or a result of the 3DCGI rendering of the designs not really selling me on them all that much. I mean just speaking for personal preference in mecha design, there are designs for the upcoming G-Reco which hasn't even aired yet that kind of have me ready to plunk down and pre-order them yet for all the explosive flair and demonstrations we've seen from the mech fights in this show....yeah I don't know. This shows very much still a work in progress though so there's always time for impressions to change here, but it still feels light years behind the Gundam franchise in selling me on it's mecha designs and concepts.

Pretty sure the first picture is IC Card Stickers (for your train card I think?). I've seen them for a lot of other anime series.
