Release: 6/27

Special Vita we will never get :/

YouTube
Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

Gameplay vid.

On a side note I still don't understand why the hell there is a PSP version of this game. Cheaper than the Vita version as well. And Sony wonders why the Vita doesn't sell

Tecmo Koei trademarks Toukiden Kyoku in Japan

Tecmo Koei has trademarked “Toukiden Kyoku” (Toukiden Extreme) in Japan.

The mark was filed on December 27 last year, and made public today.

Japanese blogs are suggesting this might be an updated version of the game, which first launched in Japan last June.
comments: "extreme" version...can't wait.

i transferred mine just fine. i didn't get any trophy for beating chap.1 on the demo though. guess i have
to beat the boss in chap.1 again to get it.

i'm using the U.S. demo for the U.S game of Toukiden. are you using the same version of the game?
it should just automated prompted you if you want to transfer your save or not from the demo
when you launch the game.

It did, but when I pressed "Yes" the pop up tells me that it could not find saved data to be used.

And yes I've played up to chap 2.3 of the demo where it ended with meeting Nagi, I don't know what else...

Wait, the demo I played was from Asia PSN, and my game was from Amazon.UK, but I thought no region locking ?

yeah, i guess that is the problem. maybe no region locking means that you can
play it on any vita, but the save files aren't the same.

maybe you'll have to replay the game again from beginning, yo. good luck! :P

amazon should give you an email with the redeem code for them. i got mine
a day before the game got shipped.

once you enter the code, you can get your stuffs at the desk/book location in your
house next to the save point.

"On further researching, I see that the pre-order bonus for this item "Toukiden The Age of Demons" is applicable only for the orders placed with Amazon.com because Amazon.com is an authorized dealer of this item we are not a participating dealer for this particular promotion."

*Pre-ordered from Amazon.UK*

^ they did say you can try contacting Koei if you want the pre-ordered stuffs.
Quote:
In my experience, the quickest way to have this issue resolved is to contact the manufacturer directly about the pre-order bonus.

For your convenience, I've provided the link to contact the manufacturer "Tecmo Koei":
http://www.tecmokoeiamerica.com/
i thought those pre-ordered stuffs were ok. you get a cat ears, tenko mask and
a mitama (that i don't really need or use). the cat ears & tenko mask quickly
become obsolete; their defense start out very weak as soon as i can upgrade to another helmet.

my character has long silver hair, so the cat ears doesn't look good on her at all.
and that tenko mask look pretty meh and fugly. the mitama is also useless...so
you're not really missing out on much...lol.
