Nice surprise that the soundtrack was leaked. I have a copy of it on order anyway, so i may as well have a little preview of it. Will give my full opinion on it later, though for now i'm looking forward to some outstanding Maeda work.

So, for the second time in a row, my favourite track on this album is definitely Ichiban no Takaramono. I like this version of it far better than Yui's version, though that one was also very good. One thing that's interesting to note though, is that the lyrics are a little different in this version. (Not gonna bother making a translation myself this time, as I see that it's already been done.)

There's a lot of great background music on here too, though. Especially the SSS-theme, Kanade's theme and the instrumental versions of Ichiban no Takaramono. There's also the full version of both the OP and ED... which, admittedly, makes the single release for those feel utterly pointless. The ED is a little different here, though; It actually contains that 15-second intro that was previously only available on the TV-size version. I don't know why they even cut that out of the full version on the single, but whatever, it's there now.

I think it's pretty safe to say that 'Kanade' is by far the best piece on the soundtrack, though it does help the fact that it easily had the best music placement in the series.

I like Kanade a lot except for that middle section. It feels out of place to me.

Kanade : I like how you can really get a sense of things "open up".

my most precious treasure -orgel- : FUCKING BEAUTIFUL

I'll definitely order a physical copy from cdjapan. My second time ever after the soranowoto OST.

Listening to all of these tracks brings back a lot of memories from the anime. That's what I love about OSTs. Plus a lot of them have tracks that are good music to listen to when you sleep.

Apparently, I need to brush up on my music terminology, since I thought the "Band Score" was just note-sheets. So I guess I'll be looking for stores selling that when the Holidays come around, since while I don't have money to spare right now, I do want to have all of the AngelBeats CDs...

The OST and Keep The Beats are shipping to me currently though, so I'm very happy as is.

man if someone could get me piano sheet music for Ichiban no takaramono -orgel- I'd love that person for life. First I thought the one by Yui was touching and beautiful. But this... man I'm speachless.

I thought that Theme of SSS is actually that...Mabo Tofu song that Kanade created back then in ep 13....never thought that it was that epic.

Definitely agree with this. Otonashi is also one of my favourite tracks, and all of Ichiban no Takaramono's version is always great ;_;

...Is it just me, or did I just listen to some of the songs which never appeared in the anime ? ;( and btw, will there be another upcoming OST in the future ? ;_;
