At the least according to theory, in reality, girls these days just as easily distracted as the boy, even though once again, puberty kicked in earlier.

If melee weapon is split into three category (Sword, Axe, Spear) which one do you think fits Souten Gagetsu? I knew it's based on Guan Dao (instead of Dao, the well known sword) but it was a slashing weapon and yet has rather short handle, so I'm somewhat confused.

Low, but not entirely impossible either, just uncommon. Hell, sometimes you ended up resembles someone else and not your parents. (like my oldest brother)

Side note - Another quirk of society in IS: To get into the restaurant, Ichika has to buy a suit worth 100,000 yen (Vought by Squall). What does Houki have to do? She's allowed to borrow a dress of the same price because she's female

Now that's just petty right there.

Is it possible to inherit things like bad eyesight or other negative traits?

Sorry for asking, but I really need to know: Can you tell me how the society in IS actually works? There's a limited number of cores, so there's a limited number of pilots. How does "Some women have the potential to be awesome pilots" translate to "Make ALL women above everything and give them special rights."? I mean, I can understand if the pilots get special rights, but this doesn't seem to be the case considering Ichika still had to buy a suit despite being a pilot just because he was male.

A dao is definitely a sword. Subclassed as a scimitar.

Is there a medical term for someone who hasn't been completely or has remained mostly unaffected by puberty? If there is such a thing.

Well, I know there's a rapid aging disease, but it's impossible to not be affected by puberty unless he has some kind of bizzarre dwarfism. in which case he'll look like Gollum.
