Yes, her face was quite original and lips stood out a bit much.
Her unique body proportions was more emphasised in the hologram scene from chapter 5 and the initial stern face look when she queried Dessler. There after, it was all odd face. Face wise, the best was when she was on the throne speaking to Hyss. Last edited by calubin_175; 2013-09-18 at 17:30. |

It appears that Gamilias has more advanced real time translating devices as it was assumed that when Yuki was kidnapped, she was given a Gamilon translation device and it was able to translate Japanese to Gamilon, even though she was expected to speak to them in the Iscandarian language.
Analyzer has a poorer version of the translator as Melda put it. Even at the end of the first PS2 game when the crew of Yamato and Gamilian were working together, they emphasised on the difficulty of translating from the earthlings. Probably by Yamato III, they had better devices. Wikipedia describes that from chapter 2 and onwards, the majority of Gamilon language was dubbed into the viewer's language(Japanese). |

I'm looking forward to seeing the ending of this series.
Especially what all of you have said about what happens with Yuki, Kodai, and Desler. If it is as good as all of you say, I will be buying this series. Prices are coming down on Amazon BTW.

Ever wondered what the Yamato crew would sound like, if they see the Yamato from the other side?
Oh how things have come full circle!

We are around two hours to what will probably be the first full airing of episode 25. This should be interesting since even those who went to the theater haven't see all of this episode yet. Might rate higher than usual on TV because of that.

Spoiler for Effects/Fates:
I did think of something unrelated though. Since Iscanadar has issues with Earth's wave motion gun, I wonder if the future Earth ships have "solved" that issue with their wide angle wave motion guns. They don't seem to be able to take out planets anymore as the beam goes out to a point and then sort of explodes into a shower of destruction that is perfect for taking out large formation of enemy ships. Only Yamato seems to still have the older style wave motion gun (might be explained as to why she might be decommissioned in a future series...she's non-compliant with her current wave motion gun, and not a useful with it plugged.
