Judging from the boxset price I've seen for the original 14 episodes, probably anywhere up to $40. Really hope it doesn't get priced that high, though.

If it's $50 Canadian (or less), I'll be happy. That's probably a bit more than $40 American, right now, so what you're saying here sounds good.

According to the following ANN article, Crunchyroll has licensed the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya as well as the spin-offs Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya and Nyorōn Churuya-san for streaming. The "second season" (2009) will follow later this year.

Edit: Crunchyroll added the rest of the first 14 episodes ("season 1") as well as the OP of "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi-chan".

Edit: On May 18, all episodes of Haruhi-chan and of Nyoron Churuya-san were added.

I look forward to this. I would suspect the dub cast does too. I mean, after the soul-crushing horror that dubbing Endless Eight must be, and the ZOMG SERIOUS BUSINESS of Disappearance, I imagine they'd be absolutely ready for the silliness required to do Haruhi-chan properly.
