Just so you know for future reference. All anime on AnimeSuki is subtitled in English. If you can't see the subtitles or cannot see them in English, then you've got a playback issue.

Ah, I see. Well, thank you too. Hoping the link above lets me finish this series, when it's so close to being over.

I don't know why but I thought this series was licensed. Seeing that it's not, I'll check it out and maybe find a new show to enjoy.

The day I decided to download the torrents and watch it was the day I found out it was licensed. How do you like that? I suppose it was me and my big mouth in my previous post. What surprises me most is that there is no announcement from xris about this being licensed. Now I have to wait for the dubbed version.

The R1 release isn't going to have a dub. Nozomi is releasing it in one sub-only box set.

I stand corrected. But even so, it'll still be some time before it becomes available. I'll probably give up on it before then.

Super excited for June 30th release. Dub would be nice, but hey, at least it's subbed!

In celebrating their aquisition of Gakuen Alice, Hotaru and Mikan are displayed on Rightstuf's spring anime catalog.

Man my sister got one of their catalogues once, I hope she picks up this one so I can have the cover hahaha

I've been sort of idling my way through this one for a few months... Watching and enjoying an episode when I needed a light-hearted pick-me-up. I have to say, 16 (Alice Festival, special ability class RPG, Mikan showing her tummy, Natsume being...Natsume) was one of the cutest things I've seen in ages.

"Where's your chest?"

I think very early on, if I remember correctly, around Volume 5 or so with
Spoiler:

Hope that helped/was specific enough.

At first I was all gung ho to get the anime, but then I kind of fizzled out, but then I was watching a video (mocking even some of the tropes used in Gakuen alice) that made me want to watch it again, and youtube has sporadic parts of it, plus it really is a nice version of the manga, I think I like both of them, Manga for more
Spoiler:
but the anime for more Mikan and Hotaru awesomeness

Seeing as how no one else has posted this, Gakuen Alice will be avaliable on The Anime Network subscriber, on-demand video service starting on July 2nd.
Here is the ANN article on it.
