Honestly, it wasn't that great of a twist in the VN, the story had many other good things going on by itself. Just scrap the twist lol if necessary.

Im playing this 'game' and at the start of chapter 2, i was a bit confused, this seems to be a visual novel and not a game, so maybe someone could describe exactly what this is supposed to be?

OK, games have decisions that effect the outcome or choose the path followed...very few choices have been available so far. Dont see how to explore one girls path over another as some have discussed

The choices do affect the outcome of the game but there's only one ending that is really worth reading anyway. I recommend the walktrough over at TLwiki.

Without the epilogue I don't feel Maou's story got the closure it needed. The epilogue was more than just about it being bittersweet.

A matured Haru would have been too dangerous a weapon. For the sakes of otakus everywhere, who have weak constitutions, it was left censored.

One cannot look upon a goddess without consequence.

Just finished this VN. Pretty much the best, if not one of the best VN for me even though I played a fair share of VNs before myself. Its a shame that this VN does not really get much attention.

Edit: Btw , Haru is hot, as in maji de hot.

I'm quite surprised this VN is quite underrated from the majority of VNs everywhere. Clearly a good plot (for the true ending to say so atleast) and has a good starting to grab people's attentions.

yeah, Seitsuki wants everything for himself. but twin tail is the best. Mizuha is the hottest. [please don't start on the character comparison since it's inherently unfair]

I think if someone posts the art book scans of Haru, people will start playing this VN though. Another nostalgic memory.

Zolaf Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2011	So I just finished this visual novel and I just have to say...... Is it just me or Spoiler: Did that epilogue totally kill the mood? Everything was settled. She's making me chocolate, I saved the day, epic ending kiss scene, and then all of a sudden I'm burning bridges with everyone I've ever loved, lost my reputation, and lost 8 years of my life and missed 8 years of my daughters life? Wtf?! I mean come on, I think the VN had enough twists without that bull crap. I half expected Maou to run my daughter over with a Limo, poke his head out the window and say "Lol, u mad?". Then give a speech about how he had one of his "children" get plastic surgery to look like him and that's who died before. Am I overreacting here, or would the ending before the epilogue have been much better? I was so close to pressing Escape during the credits, but something made me wait for that horrible unexpected epilogue. I would have much rather moved on completely ignorant of the "true" ending. Glad to get that off my chest

sharingan0619 Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: United States	yeah big time, i had thought the epilogue was too sad, Spoiler: like why would u just go ahead and ruin everything when they're together???? why couldn't they just have stayed together, but NO, get to be together for a couple days, then JAIL. woow. just wow. It took me a couple times reviewing the ending to understand that when he came out of the jail, it was suppose to end happily since now he gets to spend the time with his wife and daughter. My first impression was that it was a bittersweet moment, but in the end, i guess it's happy. Kind of annoyed that they didn't show haru's face, i really wanted to see how she looked like now in 8 years.
