Sheryl actually gained as a character in my eyes (what really upped is my impression of whoever made the character of Sheryl, but that point is moot). She's a main character, but unlike our old fashioned Cinderella stories, she starts off being high up there, is now losing almost everything she has right in the middle of the story, and is still attempting to keep her composure. Ranka has been following such a common, predictable character plot, which makes her very uninteresting to me.

Out of the men, I'm starting to like Michael more than any other. I like men who could read minds (of women at that!). I suppose it's a skill.

I don't think he said anything, besides Fold Quartz and his lame dream.

You know what I really hate? The fact they're being so god-awful tightfisted with details and they probably won't be able to justify it for shit.

I hate hype and that's all Frontier's running on; hype and lots of it. Hence the millions of references to past series. I have alot of doubts they'll actually be able to end this series without falling back on the tried and true method of blowing the shit out of everything.

Too bad the conversation was so pointless. I hate it when the main character is shown something, but we're not.

It's not a very original dream though and certainly doesn't justify all the cloak and dagger stuff we've been force fed up til now.

The dream itself? No. The means used to pursue it? Maybe. That's what makes it so damn annoying. We know there was something disturbing in his conversation with Alto, but we don't know what.

This ep made me realize I have something for losers. When Ranka was struggling, I felt sorry for her. Now I feel sorry for Sheryl and the Vajra. Especially the latter: pacified only to get blown up.


Other question: will Sheryl realize that Ranka didn't try to steal Grace? And would rather stay with her old manager? Does Elmo realize Ranka had nothing to do with it either, or does he feel betrayed?

Alto's probably bounty hunting Vajra for Fold Quartz processing. That's probably what Briler confided in him, since Alto seems to hate the things, and is too stupid to think otherwise. Why they just can't come out and say it if it's something of that nature is beyond me. It wouldn't matter to me beyond it mattering to other characters in the series who don't know about it.

I actually admired Ranka for her struggles, and I'm pleased to see that apparent success hasn't changed her. The Vajra have been fodder for most of the series, this last episode just took it a step further. I feel nothing but frustration for Sheryl's character because the writers seem to be insisting on making her a more significant character than she ought to be.

Other question: will Sheryl realize that Ranka didn't try to steal Grace?

I would respect her character more if she didn't and the writers actually had the guts to have her blame Ranka for change.

I think he knows it was a government order. I mean, they did have a contract right? It'd probably take the government to null and void it.

* Who's going to stick up for the Vajra? I don't see Alto doing it. RankaXVajra end?

Music was awesome.

Sheryl is still getting fed the short end of the stick.... have to love her for the Alto ass kicking and the strong woman complex.. quite sexy

She is pretty useless so far... but I do notice however that her singing has had no contact with the Vajra at all so far, besides the scene with the fold quartz in alto's hands. Even then, it was along with modern day Minmay Ranka Lee.

So we don't know that if the Fairie 9 project failed. Each time Sheryl has taken a backseat in things, either trapped, not at the scene, or drugged. Really getting the vibe that the creators are keeping her significance on the down low, while revealing what we suspected of Ranka since the beginning.
