Just bumping to let everyone know that after a bit of a wait, the translated chapters 17 and 18 are out now (lol, I wasn't even aware that 17 had came out a couple of weeks ago!

). There's still a few more chapters to go before we'll be caught up to the weekly releases, though.....

BTW, the chapter 19 translation is out now. In addition, a short bonus chapter (16.5) was released, as well! Poor Hork Hawk and Elizabeth.....

So from the looks of things King isn't really evil, he just really hates Ban...cause he still likes Diane and seems fine with Mel.

And the new chick...cute face...flat chest...way too flat a chest...

Heh, I had mentioned in the raw spoilers how creepy I found that chick, too.

Anyway, I like how this arc is giving us some exposition on Ban's past (I'm pretty sure he was the one responsible for opening the way to the capital of the dead).

While they're exploring, King is following them (and it looks like it's revealed he has a crush on Diane..... heh ). Suddenly, Ban spots a girl wandering the place, and runs after her.... which causes King to jump out of hiding and pursue Ban in turn. Meanwhile, the two kids Ban ran into earlier have another encounter of their own: A creepy-looking woman (probably a holy knight) who confirms that the City of the Dead exists after all....... -Chapter 21 starts with the mystery lady threatening the kids into telling her how to get to the dead city. Meanwhile, Mel's group are searching for Ban and King, who are now resuming their battle from earlier. During the fight, King turns his flying pillow thing into some creepy stuffed bear, which traps Ban. King then lets his former comrade in on a secret: The holy maiden that he killed was actually King's younger sister! He then uses his stuffed bear to activate some sort of spell that will finish off the sin of greed..... Back to creepy lady, she seems ready to attack the kids, but.... impales herself instead. She then suddenly appears in front of Mel's group. The confused group asks where she came from, and unless I'm mistaken, she simply tells them that she "died"..... Yep, quite an interesting two chapters, all right. The above summaries may not be very accurate, but I guess they'll do until the translations catch up....

As far as Ban vs. King goes.... well, my lips on that matter are sealed for the moment......

marvelB Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005	Well, for a slightly more detailed 23 spoiler: Spoiler for chap 23: Ban meets the spirit of Elaine (King's sister).... who seems to hold no grudge against him at all (IMO, he probably wasn't even the one who killed her). Interestingly, only Ban was able to see her physical form, not King. After they chat, Ban runs off to join the others' battle while King still seems to be bitter..... As far as the enemy knight chick goes, she's still putting up a good fight against Mel and Diane. If I can make it out right, I think she's using explosion magic against them, though I doubt it'll do much good against an immortal like Ban.....

Meanwhile, King finally meets his sister, and has a short talk with her (my guess is that she's telling him that Ban wasn't her killer). Suddenly, both Elizabeth and Hawk run into King, and try to convince him to join the fight. The both of them then pull his spear out of the ground. We then shift back to the battle, where the creepy chick is still putting up a good fight. However, just as soon as she stabs Ban with her sword, King's spear is impaled through his chest and hits HER in exchange (lol)! So now we have a four-on-one fight on our hands..... Heh, that was an awesome attack strategy on King's part, though. Gotta love how he uses a dude's immortality to his advantage!
