Volume 7 commentary was very interesting with the MasChera characters getting the spotlight in episode twelve's true route commentary, while the Akagi siblings take center stage in episode thirteen's.

Luicfer and the real Kuroneko stole the show imho.

So much awesome. Kyuubey appearance. Animated commentary on an earlier animated commentary. And "Watch the next season finale!" These really are some of the best BD extras ever - not only are they clever and amusing, but they genuinely add something to the viewer's understanding of the characters.

The commentary for 14 was great. I never expected them to use lines from the PSP game or drama CD, or even to refer to earlier commentary relationships! It was fun how the last commentary had a meta segment where they reviewed the series as if it were an anime the characters watched.

Following my post on other thread about the drama CD from vol 2 and 3 of the second season, I've finally listened to it. Can't say it met my expectation after what Kanata told, but it was still interesting so I decided to write (almost) complete translation of the drama CD for vol 2 on my blog:

As for the vol 3 drama CD with Ayase slept over on Kousaka house, it was more misleading for me who expected some... raunchy scenes (

) so I'll just write shorter summary of it. I've only heard it on one go though so I maybe missed something

Spoiler for Drama CD vol 3:

- Took place after Kirino came back from America, before Ria Hagry visited Japan.

- Ayase is going to come and have sleep over, so Kirino asked Kyousuke (it was more giving order

) to go out and find somewhere else to spend the night.

- Kyousuke calls Akagi to talk about it. Akagi brags about how Sena wouldn't be that cold to him because they are close, which Kyousuke retorts that he heard Sena herself said that Akagi is bothering him most of the time. Akagi said he knows that the truth is Sena cares for him, and he thinks the same thing may applied to Kirino. Akagi thinks the reason Kirino storms Kyousuke out of the house is because Kirino doesn't want Kyousuke to look and enchanted by another girl (Kyousuke's imagining it so we heard Kirino talks in dere mode here). Kyousuke thinks it's impossible for Kirino to be that way, and he retorts Akagi again that Sena is truly hate him now after she knew Akagi bought a dakimakura (or was it life-sized doll?) with character that almost look exactly like Sena on it. Anyway, Akagi suggests that Kyousuke confronts Kirino directly and voices his disagreement and Kyousuke agrees.

- Actually Akagi is now on a closet inside Sena's room (I forgot the reason he was there). Kyousuke is surprised Akagi still answer his call and listen to his problem when Akagi himself is in tight spot. Akagi says that he will do anything he could for his best friend, which Kyousuke says he will be really touched if Akagi's problem weren't so ridiculous. Kyousuke then says he will help Akagi back by calling Sena and lure her outside so Akagi can get out from there. Akagi thinks Kyousuke is so smart and Kyousuke retorts Akagi's the one too stupid not to think that way out. Just when he about to call Sena, Kyousuke receives a text from Akagi informing him that he's already busted by Sena.

- Kyousuke then confronts Kirino that he will stay home. I forgot the detail but Kyousuke says one of the reason is he couldn't find the place to crash, and his first choice, Manami house, was impossible because Manami was out or something, which apparently Kirino knows about it

But in the end Kirino fines with Kyousuke's staying on the house as long as he won't get out from his room and see Ayase, with the reason that Ayase hates him.

- Ayase finally come over and before she and Kirino go to Kirino room, Kirino goes to Kyousuke room to remind him again. After some time, Kyousuke goes out from his room and talk to Kirino, telling her that because their mother is out until much later, and asks if she and Ayase will be fine if he's the one cooking, even though he can only make simple stuff. Ayase then says to Kirino that she's jealous of Kirino who have a kind big brother that can cook for him, even though Ayase says she still generally hate Kyousuke.

- Ayase then tells it's nice to be able to sleep over together with Kirino, saying that she wants to experience living together with Kirino as roommate in the future when they are in college, which Kirino is excited to. Ayase then asks Kirino what Kirino's talking to her roommate when she was in America. Kirino then remembering that time, which she brags to Ria how handsome, cool, fast, etc etc her beloved big brother is, even though she also said that big brother is a creepy siscon (though she still telling Ria that part with her full spirit, dere mode

). Now that Kirino thinks about it, she hopes that it won't cause trouble in the future. Which we know it was inevitable. Ayase then see through Kirino that Kirino spoke about Kyousuke all the time with her roommate when she was in America, even though Kirino tries to lie. Ayase says that Kirino is bad at lying and therefore Ayase says Kirino should be more honest with herself.

- After that Kirino tells Ayase to have bath first so she can guard Ayase in case Kyousuke's trying to peep. On the way down to the bath room, Ayase and Kyousuke met. Kyousuke says good night to Ayase and Ayase replies back that she won't lose to Kyousuke (to win over Kirino, obviously) and sticking her tongue out to him.

I'm not sure these drama CD scenarios were in the light novel, but I don't think they are. I may be wrong though.

After listening to that sequence, yes it is absolutely great how she brags about him (I can imagine her expression). Most amusing was her saying that she didn't like and and hated him (if I understood that correctly) before stating that Kyousuke's a siscon (I have the feeling that she said something along the lines of "what can she do considering he's a siscon", but my understanding of Japanese is quite limited). Dere Kirino's the best.

In the Bluray Vol 7 from S2 there are 2 CD Dramas
they are Chapter 2 and 3 from the Vol12 of the Novel, the parts they skipped in the anime aka Ayase and Kuroneko

Looks like volume 1 till 7 Oreimo s2 (BD version) didn't have any new scenes (I'm talking about the episodes only). I can confirm this myself.

Still 1 volume to go. Release date January 22.
