Well the 'shipwreck' victim, in my opinion, is probably this new witch. And if that's the case then I don't know how she would replace a parent or servant, considering her features don't really match up to anyone in the house.

What if this new witch is a former Beatrice? We don't know how many Endless Witches came before Virgilia after all. However, Beatrice probably isn't her name, since the passing of the name 'Beatrice' began with Virgilia according to EP 3 TIPs.

AH! U!! U! This reminds me! In the second game some one "unknown" came into the game as well. We all claimed she never came and I think that new character won't appear in front of Battler and is the same

If she was a "real" person then we can't call her a witch else we'd be admitting that witches do exist (if we are to side with the anti-fantasy theory). That is if either some of the family members or the servants meet her (but then again, can we really believe anything they say?).

there are going to be a lot more than one new character, but the others might be just minor characters.

This is not a matter of what "will happen", that guy is saying that this new character has always been in the island even in the previous games. And you know what's the only way to explain something like that.

What if people hiding UNDER Rokkenjima (like in that tunnel to Kuwadorian) don't count?
We could have a whole secret lab developing the Rokkenjima Hallucination Gas or something.

I don't think in the Japanese version it was said that there were 17 people on the surface, if they used the "ni" particle after Rokkenjima without adding any other detail then "on Rokkenjima" doesn't have any detailed meaning, so it doesn't matter whether they're below or not, their position doesn't count since they'd still be on the island anyway.

Guys, if she's a "witch" you can't count her. The moment you count her you're either acknolewdging that witches exist or you recognize that she's not a witch but a real person.
