I woke up this morning, and it wasn't raining. Hallelujah! It has been raining for the past couple of days in England that I couldn't really go anywhere else.

Well, instead of a positive moment, I had a very positive weekend. I spent Friday going through my storage and gathering some things to give away (clothes, bookshelves, etc) and getting ready for my move north later this month.

Saturday was spent attending a whiffle ball tournament/horse shoe tossing/Kings game watching/Music Appreciation/BBQ/Surprise birthday party. Met some friends I haven't seen in a while, and after I move north, may never see again except online. Made some new friends and generally had a great time. The hardcore among us (myself included) attended the follow up Craps game until about 3am.

An event like this was definitely good for my soul.

Where are ya moving?

Unlike you, I stayed up to 3 am in my room alone playing guild wars 2 X_X But it was fun. Played with my high school friends who live oh so far away ;__;

This morning wasn't so bright. Had problems getting out of bed. Intoxicated with caffeine atm. I got a new job (er project, but we call it 'job' in this field) and it's not a building. It's a BARGE (Sand Dredger). WTF eh? So excited Wish I was more awake to dig into this.

Seattle area. The family already has a place on Mercer Island. I was supposed to join them back in December, but stuff happened and I'm still stuck in So Cal.

Did you give away the books? You are NOT SUPPOSED to give away old books!

Ouch, it hurts. I'm a bookworm and I have a small library in my house. Burning books is akin to burning part of my soul. Anyway, I know the pic is just a jest. The pic reminds me of the destruction of Confucian classics.

This just in:

Just a few minutes ago my boss ,who doesn't know yet that I was planning on giving my two weeks notice next week, called me into his office and said "Since you're doing such a good job, I'm considering giving you at least a $5 raise."

First obvious question would be why did you want to leave.
