People have been spoiling that so often that if by the time the anime reaches that point in the Marineford Arc, I'll be shocked if it comes as a surprise to any anime-only watchers.

And Luffy's breakdown had to be one of my favorite moments period.

Most touching: All the parts where Nami cries for Luffy and possibly at the funeral of the good ship Going Merry.

Most exciting: Luffy vs. Lucci

Touching = When CP9 want to take Nico Robin in CP9's arc.... Never imagine a silent Nico Robin will have a melancholy side.....

I can't choose the saddest moment since there are too many touching moment that's almost made me cry

For me, there was a touching moment..when the Moby Dick was hit and was going up in flames....Whitebeard just looked at it...and then said "I'm sorry"

1. luffy going through the pain of watching his crew mates disappearing from kuma (specially when nami shouts "help me" and the fit he has after everyones gone)

2. luffy shouts to robin that she wants to live and they all jump to go save her

3. when nami was crying in arlong park and he put the hat on her head


Epic moments:

the punch to the tenryubito in saboady
the sound of the bell on skypeia being heard by everyone
the build up and conclusion of the fight between usopp and luffy

(all i can think of from the top of my head)

for me one of the most touching moments was at the end of the thriller bark arc
when sanji walks toward zoro to take the "pain" from kuma
the last 2 seconds before zoro knocks him out
this is the moment

My really touch moment are.

- Going Merry got burn, and they flash back the memory, usopp the mask fellow still wearing his mask!
- Farewell with vivi, that she did not join in the group.
- Calgara the Warrior realize he has misunderstood norland. And when norland return, the island was gone half away. They both will never meet again.
- Brook sang a song together for laboon, when everyone is going to die.

What a flashback.....I comeback 7 years after I last wrote on the thread...only to realize that people were still posting on it until the end of 2010. Not a mega thread like I intended back in 04' but a priceless trip on the flashback train for me. Thanks everyone.

The most touching moment for me was when they showed Nami's flashback also when she stabs herself in the arm. I have only seen season 1 dubbed so far but I have all 3 seasons but won't watch season 2 or 3 until season 4 gets confirmed to be dubbed here in america. I wanna see this show to the end it is awesome and I only saw the first season. It's a great show like Berserk, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Last Exile, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, etc.

I really hope they dub season 4 and onwards cuz I wanna see the show to the end. I know it's going to be like a 1000 episodes and that's great!! So plz funimation keep dubbing the show I will buy all the voyages!!!!

touching moments? plenty! but a few really stood out for me and that's because i really wept during these moments...

when luffy and usopp fought because of merry
when merry came to rescue them in ennies lobby and they said farewell to her
when ace died

exciting moments? plenty as well. i can't even remember all of them. but i will try to enumerate the ones that i could.

when the straw hats fought oars and then later kuma
when they marched towards arlong park and fought the arlong pirates
when they went to rescue robin
when luffy penetrated impel down to rescue ace
the marineford war

only oda made me cry about a ship, and for that i will forever worship the guy! lol i love it that he can make you cry one minute and make you laugh the next, and vice versa. he never ceases to amaze me.

For me, its the climax of the CP9 Arc.

Luffy's second best boss fight (I likes Enel's beter)
Robin Join's with lots of tears
Usopp rejoin's with great emotion
Franky Join's in a funny way
Merry's burning ceremony
New Thousand Sunny.

thats favourite end to an arc but the biggest moment was them all saying goodbye to Merry. I cried.

Spoiler for One Piece Mermaid Island arc:

This is another Arc Oda made that makes me pumped, cry, and feel a lil bit better about myself. When they did a flashback and everyone(the fishmen and mermaids) was so happy and decided to sign those papers for peace with the humans, then the queen trying as hard as she can just gets shot and dies do to Hodi!? but Hodi straight up blames a human he randomly found!? and the kids crying agh I died inside a lil. but flash back to the present, Luffy and the Gang find out about this and set up a very smart and un expecting plan to hide luffy in the shark then the whole gang shows up! Luffy drops 50k people without touchin them!? ****'s goin down.

I'm not gonna say more than that even though the manga is past that, seriously dont read unless your caught up on the mangas like the chapter 639
