Can anyone reccomend a series that makes me want to leave work early so I can watch the next ep?

Well I had a lot more typed, but I felt that I should keep it short since I didn't want to cause someone to not say a specific series that I may really like even though it doesn't match what I list.

but here are some that kept me interested, but by no means let this keep you from suggesting something that is way different from what is listed.

Bleach
Full Metal Alchemist
Ghost in the Shell
Ai Yori Aoshi

If you like anime that requires thinking, I for sure second Death Note too, great anime!

Death Note hardly requires any thinking at all

Reason being - both Light and L allways explain what they are doing, and what is the reason for their actions. But other than that - it is indeed very good.
