I forgot about how troubling the censorship was for this series. Will have to get back into the pattern of waiting for the uncensored stuff.

Still hilarious situation that Hana is in. Stuck being Sasha's Maria for this mission though they don't like each other. Have to wonder what Katja is thinking about. Rough mission for Sasha though having to pretend he's a girl all the time (know how much he loves doing that ).

Just a manner of time until the old characters start popping up. Mafuyu I'm sure will love hearing about how he's sucked soma from 20% of the school already .

That explains why those 2 showed up together at the end of s1. Poor Hana seems like Katja will be fooling around. I miss Mafuyu though, i wonder where she is.

I think Jita was an adept right, my memory is failing me right now? Don't remember the guy who showed up at the end.

(2)Up to what point has the first season covered?
(3)Was the anime faithful to its source?

3) The breasts were less "gigantic'" in the manga. ^^

Anyways, prefer to wait for a uncensored version for épisode 1. XD

2) the first season go until the beginning of the 7th volume.

the second season, or at least the Arc in the girl-only school, go from the end of the 7th (there's a lot of small stories in the middle in the 7th volume) , to the middle of the 10th.
So, this season will probably be in 12 episodes... or they will shift to a second arc.

3)As much as Mai-Otome's manga was faithful to the anime

The elemental circuit was split between Tomo and Mafuyu.
Gold was killed when Tomo got the elemental circuit, and "Crest maker" became the big bad.
Katja-sama never helped the Adepts.

The second season exists only in the anime, not the manga.
The anime's first season cover 90% (i'm talking generally episodes, not opening/ending themes) of the censorship, now the second season has...50% of the censorship.
Plus the second season's ending theme is more censored than the first season endings.

I find the new ED to be superior to the first season's, at least by the music. And we have a riding Katja twice ! , what else can you ever want?

Anyway, i was re-watching the Ending, and i spotted some artworks coming directly from the 3rd arc, the one coming after the "Suirei academy arc".

so it make me wonder, if it may not be, after all, in 24 episodes...

According to the internets (their website), 4/17 @ 24:00 Japan time. Which I think should translate to 4/17, 11:00 am EST time or 08:00 am PST time.

Interesting question, but I'm not sure. It seems to me that there is moaning but it isn't really excessive moaning. Both censored and uncensored versions are so different that it's hard to compare
