You didn't post them, but the Kiara, Rin and Eliza ones are also really nice. The FeMC pic borders on excessive, while the Rani and Passion ones are just no...

Type Moon knows that no one really cares about the Fate/Extra series as a shoddy rock/paper/scissors RPG anyway. They buy it because it's Type-Moon. |

Eh, I loved the RPS combat because it was a very unique change, so to each their own. And aside from it being cheesecakey as hell, that is a gorgeous Sakura/Rin piece. Some talented work.

I'm resurrecting, partially, the topic, as I've been playing (rather slowly due to time constraints) the game, and I think I'm almost at the halfway point (around mid-end of Chapter 3). Let's say I am very disappointed in the game, and not for sticking to the terrible battle system or the sub-par technical level. Mostly has to do with the writing.
Nasu said before the game came out that the script got really bigger after the delay, and it is indeed bigger than EXTRA's semi-minimalistic approach. The issue is that is literally littered with needless padding. To elaborate, the game keeps making fun of the established characters of the old game, but doesn't know when to stop. Several times conversations drag on too long without offering anything worthwile. Also Spoiler for Some story spoilers:
On the upside, the dungeons have become bigger and some (like one at around mid-chapter 2) are also interesting to do. What's not interesting is that certain events just have you go back and forth the dungeons for no reason other than artificially slowing progress down. Punish time is...amusing, that's all I'm going to say. Voice acting seems to be distributed randomly, despite having more voiced lines, especially during long events in the Student Council room. In short, as of now, I wouldn't recommend the game even to people who played the original. |

But with this game certain dialogues are really stretched too much (not to mention the odd way of deciding what is voiced and what is not). |

I won't even see that scene, as I flat out refused to use Gilgamesh (I don't like the character one bit). I sticked with Saber like I did with the original game. Still, the humor is too hit and miss, especially when it wastes time that could have been devoted to the story.
Spoiler for Example from Chapter 3:

(I would hope not so much.) They should be there now; I had to wait for the monthly bandwidth ticker on Photobucket to reset.
