Often told that he can't 'read the mood', (presumably includes him not 'reading the mood' too)? (<= not sure. I think they're indicating that he doesn't even try to read the mood much of the time...)

Shu's classmate. (strange that in this sentence Shu's name was written in katakana (シュウ) instead of usual 集)

But I have a question:
Why 宿す is became entrusted? As far as I know it translates more like carry (in himself).
The trailer has the word 戴きし, (それは彼が戴きし、罪の王冠。) so I think these words are connected.
戴く can be translated as be crowned with or receive/take/accept.

And I think that outgoing is the right translation of 社交的な.

Also I agree about speaks unreservedly (the same words for as in diagram), and I thought the same about reading the air and believe that your assumption about Souta is right)

Comparing this to the completely ridiculous proportions and raunchy nature of Horizon's lead female in her Megami scan (something that company has a tendency to do) I'd have to say this is the better way to go. Keep the proportions of your characters within reason and you'll probably maximize their appeal.

Actually reading synopsis and what not and seeing who is involved this series actually seems to have a bit in common with Code Geass. Wonder if that influenced the design as well.

No problem. ^^

Because of はからずも and になる, which imply he didn't have it before and that it was unplanned/unintended (on his part). "comes to hold/carry/house" could work too.

"Sociable" is a plausible translation (and the first word my dictionaries give me), but you're right, "outgoing" is probably what we'd say in English.

I'll start slowly translating all this staff (if somebody want quick translation, they can get this text through google translator to get similar result with that from my post above), and any help with translating or editing my stuff will be highly appreciated.
I hope there are several people on this forum interested in this series with some knowledge of japanese and free time in the stock like me...

  剣のような武器らしいモノから、ペットボトルのような戦いとはかけ離れたモノまで、「ヴォイド」は千差万別 。

  「ヴォイド」をより有効に使うためには、「集」と「ヴォイド」を取り出される人との関係性が重 要。
  そういう意味でも「友達」はキーワードだが、「吉野さん」によるとそれに加えて「友達とは何か、自分とは何 か」という普遍的な問いもこの作品のキーになるという。
  誰もが心に抱える友人関係の悩み「集たち」の心情に共感できるはず！

  友が達らしき人は学校に何人かいるが、深く関わりたくないと思っている。
  「いのり」と出会い、「ヴォイド」能力を手に入れたことで、戦いに巻き込まれていく。

  天王洲第一高校に通っている。
  レジスタンス組織「葬儀社」の「涯」や「いのり」との出会いを経て、その右腕に「王の力」を宿 す。

  どこか冷めており、人の顔色を読んで人づきあいしてきた。
  「いのり」や「涯」と出会い、「王の能力」を身につける。

• Boy meets friends
  友達から取り出されるという武 器=〈ヴォイド〉は、ドラマを 左右する重要な設定だ。
  多くの相手と深い絆を築けば、それだけ威力とバリエーションに富んだ〈ヴォイド〉を手に入れられることにな るが……。

  WEB上の人気のアーティスト集団「エゴイスト」のボーカルであり、「集」のあこがれの存在でもある 。
  彼女を演じるのは人気急上昇中の「茅野愛衣」。
  「「いのり」は感情をあまり表に出さないタイプの少女です」（大山P）。
  胸に秘めた、「いのり」の思いとはいったい何なのか。
  「集」は一歩ずつその核心へ接近していく。

• ネット上の人気グループ「エゴイスト」のボーカルで、「集」にとって憧れの存在。
  実は「葬儀社」の一員であり、「集」の運命を変えていく。

• 反GHQレジスタンス組織「葬儀社」のリーダー。

  一般の日本人が知らない「GHQの陰謀」に気づき、それを阻止するために戦っている。

• 超国家機関GHQの統治下にある日本で、独立をうたうレジスタンス組織を率いる、若き首領。
  「集」と同じく17歳。
  「集」を戦いへ導く。

• 日本独立を謳うレジスタンス「葬儀社」の首領。
  「王の能力」を持ってしまった「集」を導き革命の成功を目指す、若きカリスマ指導者。

供奉院亞里沙

• 供奉院アリサ
  「生徒会長のアリサは、僕がおねだりして登場させたキャラ」と「大山さん」。
  「せっかくオリジナルだし、やりたいことを1つずつ入れよう」ということになったそうで、そんなスタッフ陣 の「趣味」の発露も本作の注目点！？
  なお、「大山さん」が「アリサ」で描きたいことは「高貴な女性が……」。

Story

• 日本はどうなっているのですか？
  この作品の日本は「ロストクリスマス」と呼ばれる大規模細菌漏洩で政治機能を失い、GHQ（多国籍軍総司令 部）の保護下にある。
  「涯」のレジスタンス組織「葬儀社」はGHQに反旗を翻しているのだが、その理由はまだ不明だ 。

• 管理された中で送る学園生活
  物語の舞台は、10年前にウィルス渦「ロストクリスマス」が起き、パニツ クに落ちた日本。
  その後、国際連合の組織「GHQ」に統治されることで復興の道をたどっている。
  東京の六本木には「GHQ」の兵士が武装し、人々を監視中。
  そんな状況下で集は高校へ通っている。
  「「集」が通ってい天王洲一高はわりとエリート校でGHQの圧力を多少は感じていながら、比較的平穏な毎日 を過ごしています。
  ただし、世の中にはGHQの行動に陰謀を感じている者もいて、「葬儀社」のような組織がレジスタンス活動を 実施しています」。

You should've seen the earlier scans. This one makes the sword more reasonable looking

But yeah, the thing looks like a FF weapon, tho I guess it's fitting for a show that looks like it's borrowing the fashion sense from a FF game

Yeah, even though I'm more of a fan of Hotwheels design (until she speaks and my bias towards HanaKana starts acting up :P) I must admit that there is a certain ''balance'' about Inori's look. I do suppose the Geass influence might've been a partial factor in the overall process, but considering that the other heads from the director to the main script writer had been working on shows with risqué elements, glorification of idols and emphasizing greatly on their female cast sexual factor as a selling point of their past works, they must've uncovered the ''winning combination'' by just throwing in what they had during the meeting process.

Still, this might be my old!noitaminA side talking (or maybe the more conservative one), but I feel like I want to throw my jacket over her and just yell ''what ever possessed you to go outside looking like that!?'' ^^;

Luckily I'm keeping that side locked behind a steel door. Seriously, the show is looking pretty fantastic so far.
