The episode introduces new(or old) terminology into the series: MAGIUS：Multiple Assignable Game Interface for Universal System. I think it is what it is.

The idea was used by the publisher Fujimi Dragon Book. It specializes in TRPG.

According to the current progress, Magius is a shadowy race who try to rule the world in shadow. They are some type of supernatural being. Cain can defend Haruto's machine gun with a mysterious plasma shield. Maybe Magius's technology is similar to DUNE.

I am curious how complete VVV II looks like.

So...any bet for the last unit, VVV VII or VVV 0? Though its possible there'll be more than 7.

Here's the instructions for Hummingbird wand. It seems that Akira is the perfect person for the job since the pilot has to input codes for every single thing that is hacked. And even then it might not work right. Also, they do add a disclaimer saying that the time period of control over an electronic object is varied per object. So, she could potentially hack something and it could only last for a few seconds. An interesting weakness.

The "Fan Talon" was very cool, and I would like to see "Universe" in action. However while it seems to have some good close range weapons. It lacks in long range, especially since "Universe"'s control ability is limited.

I'm actually not sure if she can hijack a Valvrave. Her Hummingbird wand seems to be restricted to electronic objects with circuits. The Valvraves' source of power is mysterious and could even be possibly powered by the OS-tan entities themselves in the form of runes. The runes being the smallest bits that information can be broken down into, might be too small for VVV6's weapon.

I just put that as lazy writing plot convenience. However, who knows? Maybe they actually did write it that way on purpose and it becomes a later plot point?

I guess you can always blame coincidence

but from what I've seen, that despite being a crazy show, Valvrave follows a certain logic, and you can see why things happen they way the are.

To me, it looks more like the head of a demon. Even the humanoid form looks like a demon in my opinion.

Small update:

-Aniplex refuses to update the English mecha section...
-IMP stands for Impregnable Shell, source is ep 12 screenshot
-Strike Brace extra info: the clear parts are made of Clear Fossil(as is everything else transparent) and it's made of 3 parts: solid shield made VLC for protection, sharp transparent side edge for cutting and 3 spike claw for punching
-Cain's Walkit class ship is called Rammelsberg, no other mecha info from the novel...

Later this week the 1st Gaiden on VVV II will be released on Dengeki, let's hope for some lineart for unit II
