Not much of a new for everyone but it is for me

Spoiler for Magazine Scan:

Dynasty Warriors 6:
* New Agressive/Dance mode
* The Battlefied has been imrpove
* Lots new weapons
* More freedom this time
* You can swim
* You can climb ladders

Quote:
The "Big Announcement" is Dynasty Warriors 5(6 outside of Japan) for the PlayStation 3( Talks about how Koei's Dynasty Warriors grew on the PlayStation Platform from 15 million internationally sold and 10 million from Japan only. New "Aggressive/Dance Mode" on Dynasty Warriors 6, you'll feel at times as if it were a kung fu movie/game while playing. The Battlefield has improved from the past few titles, pretty much it. No Online Gameplay mentioned though, wait for Tokyo Game Show 2007 for a Video and more information.

Famitsu.com reports that the game's concept is "Extreme Action, Extreme Battle field." On top of the usual updates, including all new weapons, Koei is playing around with the formula a bit, adding the ability for players to perform practically unlimited combos. The game will also give players more freedom.

While today's announcement was unexpected, an even bigger surprise is that Koei plans on releasing the game to Japan this fall! A playable version will debut at the Tokyo Game Show in September

My only question is, how many of these game are ever likely to leave Japan? I know the games are region free, but I'm not a fan of using a guide just to translate a game.

It it true that shaking your PS3 controllers also part of gameplay in certain games?

Yes it is; do you have a problem with that? I'm not being confrontational.. I've wondered about the impact of interactive controllers for a long time.

Another example would be Folklore (Folk Soul). You need to swing the controller up and down violently to catch a phantom. At least, that's what I could figure out, as the demo is Japanese.

Lots of games use the motion sensor. flOw and Super Rub-a-Duck use tilting exclusively. In one of the basketball games you use it to make freethrows, and in one of the baseball games you use it to bunt. I think Resistance uses it to shake off enemies.

But the good thing about it all, is there are many games that DON'T have it. You're not forced into using it.

In FolkSoul/Folklore, it is a fun element to fish for monster souls with your controller. You don't have to use exessive force, and for tougher enemies your have to time the pulls with the enemy's status.

Also, in Restistance: Fall of Man you shake the controller to free yourself from homing tags fired from your opponents in multiplay battles.

Hey, does anybody know where to get great 1080res anime wallpapers? The ones that I have are smaller then the resolution I'm displaying at, so there are 2 black bars remaining on the outside.

Perhaps, we can post some wallpapers in here and share.

I wonder if there is a way they can make the first few hours any longer, duller, slower, obnoxious, tedious, and agonizing.
