Mother-III Dulidona attacked Glendan, Delbonait got killed. Delbonait.got.killed.
WHYWHYWHYWHYWHY!!! I always expected Mother-III Dulidona's attack on Glendan to be an re-enactment of what what happened to Meruniks in the Crusade. I kept on hoping Dick, Lintence, and Delbonait would team up again and have a rematch against Ignasis's force and actually win this time... but noooo, they have to kill Delbonait off here.

Finished entire volume 14 of Chrome Shell and volume 2 of Boku to.

Nothing much happened in Boku to, I guess I have to wait for volume 3 to really tell is that creature in volume 1 is really Harpe or not.

As for Chrome Shell, outside Leerin's introspective, Delbonait's final moments, it really wasn't that great. On top of of my dream getting crushed.

For those who wants to know what Leerin is really thinking can read below.

Leerin spend most of her time telling herself that the things that are happening around her are not just some pre-programed fate, and she rejecting Layfon is a part of this. Can't blame her though, how she and Layfon come together is one giant rigged deus ex machina, and she very much don't want to believe her relationship with Layfon has come to be only because the world has been programed this way.
Leerin also felt guilty that she is the very person who has plunge Layfon into a life he does not want. Layfon is such a powerful warrior because when they are still bbaies, Leerin subconsciously stang Layfon with the thorn of her vines. So she is the one who gave Layfon so much power and thus lead him to live a life as a military artist that brought him pain. If Layfon has just been a normal person, he wouldn't have to participate in underground tournament, feeling responsible for the economy of the orphanage, nor he'll get kicked out of Glendan, nor he is going to be at loss of his life now. Leerin felt responsible, and now Layfon is willing to fight for her sake only make her feel even more painful. In the end, everything is because of her, Layfon never really made any decision himself. She simply can't stand this and the "fate" around her.

In the end of the volume Leerin rejected Layfon again, and Layfon, when it is already too late, finally realized he really likes Leerin. While queen simply don't understand why Leerin is so resentful toward all these. The queen is like "if you like him so much, just keep him with you. You really think you are going to be happy by preventing from participating in this battle?"

Looks like a transitional volume, with the Layfon/Leerin(Grendan) confrontation settled for now, and Layfon going back to Zuellni after being "rejected". I think the preview for next volume is about going back the the school setting.

Yes! I knew Leerin feeling guilty and cutting off Layfon would make him realize how much he cares for her. Of course, it's not resolved yet, but a LayfonxLeerin pairing looks highly possible now. Now if only Layfon would get more involved in the main issues of the Regios world, and be more active...
It's pretty easy to see why Leerin would sever all bonds with Layfon. She pretty much indirectly "bred" him to be the perfect warrior, his life completely devoted to her.
It's nice the origin of his powers were explained, but I wonder if there's not something more (he's an orphan after all).
As for the other plot points of the volume, I must say I'm pretty lost , I'll have to wait blewin's translations.

So...my pairing hope is close to shatters. I hoped maybe CSR has a different kind of romance than the usual. Because Leerin pretty much held every strings in her hands to win from the start. It's somehow wicked to root for the "strongest underdog", but I like the surprise. Anyways I'm interested what would the "Nina faction" do next. I think she's going to have an important role in the endgame too.

What happened to the NinaxLayfon that was so strong in the earlier volumes? Did they just go their separate ways?? Who's really the main heroine. I always thought it was Nina. I've never read the novel past volume 3 so I'm relying on summaries. Maybe Nina doesn't like Layfon that way and her priorities are more centered on Zuellni's welfare. Can shmaster please fill us in on the "NinaxLayfon faction" too? Pretty please?

Nina? She simply doesn't have time to built an romantic relationship now. Getting involved in the war against Igansis, getting stalked by Dick here and there, then she has to protect Zeullni. She has been spending most of her time just figuring out what she should do.

Actually, Nina has revealed everything she knows to her group members, but they all have this "should we really get involved" attitude. Because, well, what differnce can they make? At this Nina eventually got her priority straight after finding out that Zeullni has been severly weakned in trying to help her, before getting involved with the war against Ignasis, protecting her school come first.

Though, there is something that might please the Felli fans....

The chances that she'll become a Heaven's Blade has increased thanks to Delbonait dying.
In her last breath, Delbonait appointed her grand daoughter (who is actually Felmouse, the robed pyschic from the mercenary group) to succeed her position. But, despite being the most talented among Delbonait's grand children, she is still not in the league of Delbonait's calibur. So, Delbonait requested Felli's help. With Felmouse having the technique and Felli providing the psychic output, they can finally fill up Delbonait's missing position.

Now, we have to remeber that Delbonait's is among the most important among the Heaven's Blade. She is the very commander of the group, and even the queen relies heavily on Delbonait's psychic power. Mince has commented that between the queen and Delbonait, Glendan is doomed to collapse if either one of them falls. Now, you think the queen would simply let Felli get away under the current situation? Felmouse needs Felli's power to barely match the power Delbonait had, and consider Glendan's desperate need for a psychic commander, I wonder what choices Felli has?

By the end of volume 14, we didn't know where did Felli go after Durindana got beaten. So there is the slight chance that Felli might stay behind in Glendan.

But... *sighs, why Delbonait has to die, and having such a meaningless death to boot.... First time is Levantine, and this time Durindana, she lost horribelly for both encounters. Did the author secretly hates her or something?

uhhh, I can't help it. Thinking of how long it'll take me to get to Vol 14, I broke my own principle and read the spoilers here. I'm happy that LayfonxLeerin pairing is official, but the breaking up of it at the end of Vol 14 can turn it around and make it a LayfonxNina pairing. What's stupid Leerin doing??

In my opinion, it's actually a good thing. If Leerin was using the fact Layfon is fatefully bound to her as a way to keep him close, it would be selfish and there would be no way to tell if Layfon, as a free being, would have chosen her for real. Leerin rejecting him sets the situation where he can prove he truly cares for her (now that he's away from her). Layfon should make choices on his own now. And I don't doubt he'll have to save Leerin one way or the other, unless Regios is going for a tragic ending...

I am disappointed by Regios Crusade 2, nothing much happened. This is a let down, consider Crusade 1 is loaded with important and unexpected plot threads.

Really, nothign much happened, just Dick's school life when he was a student in Zeullni. Dick's isn't as touching nor as distrubing comapred to Crusade 1. As well, there aren't much important plot point. It is mostly about Dick being Nirphiria's lap dog and attack the Wolf Face under her command and emoing over himself accomplishing nothing, then further emos when he got beaten by the Fire God. It is not that I don't like emo, Dick emoed a lot in Crusade 1, but the introspectives were interesting. While the emo this time is just so blend.

And to sum up the the few important things that got metioned are 1. Fire God (Shante's awaken form) is a actually a product of Ignasis' experiment in making up Nanocellroid's weakness and it was secretly made in Zeullni when the city is still under Ignasis' infleunce. 2. Zeullni is the who give Dick the power to travel through En System. 3. There is this "Child of Oblivion" that we had no idea who he/she is. It is child of man that had been curropted by the Faceman System, which means the child naturally carries the factors from Ignasis thus making the child outside the fate that dictates the world.

Finally, some concrete information about Crusade 2...thanks shmaster. It's not as popular as CSR, I think. No that much spoilers can be found on the web about. Although, now I know why people where bringing layfon up all the time when talking about it, at first I thought it was the "Dick is Layfon dad" group...but looks like it might not be the case.

Zuellini under Ignasis' influence. When did that happen? Gorneo seems to think that Shante was from another Regios in vol. 3. Although, it could be a well disguised lie.

I wonder what it mean to be corrupted by the Faceman System. Did it try to take over the child and failed or for some reasons particles of the faceman System ended-up in the kid somehow? I had the impression that the Faceman System absorbed people into its collective and that's it. Some people seems to believe that the kid might be Layfon. But it doesn't really make sense if he was "fated" to be right beside Leerin and get his powers from her. Technically, somebody who is outside the "fate" would have no purpose in the "normal" world of Regios.

Although, if everything that come from Ignasis isn't a part of "the world fated destination", does this mean that the Wolf Face mens and filth monsters are "outside the fate that dictates the world" too? Which mean that every time they attack/destroy a Regios, that city isn't exactly part of the fate of the world anymore? And that, technically, the fate of the world get shifted because one of it pieces get taken away?

This would explain the Queen and Leerin having both a piece of Ain powers, as opposed the Queen having it all as "originally planned".

Zuellini the city has been occupied and controlled by people curropted by Ignasis in the past. Reasonable though. Consider Zuellini and Nirphiria are very close, it is very logical for Ignasis to send his underlings to that city.

And people in Regios world don't contain factors from Ignasis naturally. They only got it after getting contanminated by Faceman System, and like you said, that is it. But one o the contaminated person actually had a child, so that child is naturally born with factors of Ignasis without the infleunce of Faceman System.

I also agree with the pint the child is not Layfon, he is too involved with the fate to be outside of it.

Though, I don't not believe Ignasis and his goons are outside of fate, consider that Ignasis is trying to break out of it too as Elmy programed the world to behave in such a manner just to trap Ignasis and plummet him into total despair. If Ignasis is outside of it, then there is no meaning for what elmy did in the first place. Also, the Wolf Face man were also not expecting that Nirphiria "awoke ahead of the schedule". So I think Igansis is also following the fated script of the world.

On Queen and Leerin's case. I am wondering on that too. Shunibal mentioned something did went wrong so the power got splited but didn't elaborate on what went wrong.
Though Alcheilla herself seems to have an different interpretation. Alcheilla suspect her and Leerin's grandchild would be the perfect copy of Eyerayne that the fate is demanding. But Alcheilla has no intention in leaving the responsibility to her children and decide to end everything in her generation. Perhaps the Queen is intentioanlly pushing everything ahead of the schedule?? Nirphiria did woke up early.....

So it's the child of somebody "infected". That make more sense. Although, it doesn't mean the child isn't involved with what is happening now. If one of the "participants" found him they could enlist him into their group and thus add some chaos to whole "war". Actually, considering that things seems to have gone wrong...the child is probably involved, no? I'm using him to simplify here.

Nirphiria woke up early? Wouldn't it be Saya that woke up early (or both)???? Confusing...not only do they look alike, both of them also are sleeping beauty.

I think that the Queen will get a rude reminder that you don't cheat fate (unless you aren't a part of it). Alcheilla and Leerin's grandchild...how old is the Queen, can she still have kids?

Shunibal being evasive...I read speculation that Shunibal might be trying to screw with the PLAN. Not sure, how this should be taken. I doubt she's working for Ignasis, though. I hope that Nina, Layfon and Co will have the chance to go on that Regios in the future...

Both woke up early. Nirphiria's awakening signifies the beginning of the end, so once she wakes up, rest of the schedule speeds up too.

As for the Alcheilla's age, we don't know. But by my own esitmate, she at least isn't as old as Derbonait. But I don't think it really matters, she has been keeping her body young with her powerful Kei, so I assume it is as funcyional as those who are still in their twenties.

As for Shunaibal, she only think of her children, their well being is p her priority, and that's it of her. Just she doesn't care about everyone else. She is Merunisk this and Zeullini that but only see Nina as a tag on and did not give a danm about her, and that pissed Nina off. The author did mention that the eletrical fairies are going to do something too in near future. (the author seems to be hinting that electronic fairies have take over as Saya might leave the world behind her).

Just finished reading volume 4 by Bakatsuki and I must say, I find it funny how Nina always comes up with the same excuse that she only cares for Layfon because he is her subordinate and doesnt really have any special feelings towards him. I wonder if Nina will ever realise that she likes Layfon in a romantic way because except Nina, the other 3 girls ---- Felli, Meyshen and Leerin have all already realised and sorted out the nature of their feelings for Layfon. Well, in Leerin's case, its complicated as I found out fom reading the spoilers posted here and I really cant tell, if she still likes him or not or what is actually going through her mind. However, what really surprised me was, Layfon finally coming to terms with his feelings (I hope it isn't too late), and his choice was unexpected as I always felt, he was closer to Nina as he seemed to look at Nina in that way and was more likely to have chosen her while he treated Leerin like a sister. But I am not complaining because although I preferred Nina and would've liked it, if it was Nina x Layfon, I dont really mind Leerin x Layfon but I wonder if Leerin will ever accept Layfon back into her life as she said that she finally understood the nature of her feelings for Layfon and it wasnt "Love" , so Leerin might just keep rejecting Layfon. I still havent given up on Nina though but she doesnt seem to have the time to spare. I wonder, why her team isnt helping her and doesnt she miss Layfon?

Nina... well her team really didn't know her condition up to now, they just found out what's going on with her. The recent volumes are filled with war aginst Ignasis to do anything romantic. At least they'll be back to their school life next volume, maybe Nina well finally have time to think about layfon.

Nobody is called Aurora. There is the Aurora field and the Aurora particles. They do make things possible, but I'm not sure if we can say that they are sentient.

The term comeback later in volume 6 too.

Although, I think that the verb subject might be "outside" of the sentence. Does the verb tense allow for something else than "Aurora field thinks"? Could it be, "Aurora field, think it's possible", where "think" refer to the person spoken to? Similar to "Sprite, obey your thirst".
