This is something I ask myself the first time I read the ch. What do she mean with interest?
another thing that truly amazed me is Zen itself ... that is when he heard of the interest by her he has not said anything ,almost as if he accepted the pact. And this it's really strange, especially if we think what Zen told to Naze when she asked him to use parasite eyes.
But now it seems almost as if its use is unproblematic. For what he meant Najimi as interest can be anything sincerely. From what you said to yourself to even a date .
But seriously, we do not have enough information to understand what these interests are, but they are something that gives more gain than take back parasite eyes immediately.

I was quite shocked with Zen as well but if you think about it it's quite logical though a very shittery predicament. Remember that Zen is blind without parasite seeing, so he won't just lose the ability but his sight also. So it would need to be a pretty steep interest for Zen to feel the need to give it back.

Although logically speaking any mildly smart person would ask what the hell the interest was before accepting the deal. But that was most probably due to poor writing in order to use the revalation ater on.

I hope cxc catch up soon, because I have no Idea what everyone is talking about, I dont care much for zen=x theories but I want to know why people are freaking out over kuma. I dont want to completely spoil the surprise by looking at Raws but I am dieing to know. Damn it all!

Interesting second ch Kumagawa centric, I hope the next is Zen centeric ,really. (In order to maintain parity between the two).
I must admit I'm curious to know what Najimi said at the end of ch.
But with this ch there is another thing that really intrigues me and is Hanten himself.
That is, since it appeared we never saw his face not he say anything and I am sure that even Zen, kumagawa and others have never seen his face so far.
I mean this is really weird if you think about it, which leads me to think of three possibilities.
1 Hanten is the real final boss is the one who manipulates everything in the shadows
2Hanten has the same face of one of the characters we already know in Medaka's group .
And so far, his face is hidden by letting us astonished when we finally will see that he has the same face as one of the characters we already know.
3This seems to much even to me ... but I have learned to expect everything from this manga even the impossible.
Let's say that Najimi took a dangerous abnormality from someone and obviously with the abnormality she also took the part of the personality connected to that abnormality (or at least that part of the personality that would be develop in the person thanks that abnormality) and probably the memories of holding that abnormality and by using one of her various abnormality she to created Haten that is the personification of that abnormality and memory.
Hanten of course will have the same face of the person from whom the abnormality was taken.
Interesting that now in the manga there are two people who are a real mystery and they are Zen and Hanten respectively.
Going back to what we saw in the ch ,seems to me or Kumagawa has gained a lover / girlfriend?

I can't help wondering, if Ajimu and Hanten are the only "Not Equals" in the world....we know the girls are spies for Ajimu...so I wonder what each girl is, Special, Abnormal, Minus? Anyway, Military Glasses-chan seems to have a crush on Misogi, and it doesn't look like Ajimu is completely over her feelings for Misogi. It also looks like there'll be a focus on each successor with each council member.

What I really like about this is how Ajimu isn't the least bit interested in Medaka. Old Man Shiranui wanted her as a part of the Flask Plan, Oudo wanted her as his lover, Misogi hated her(he probably still does to an extent). But Ajimu couldn't care less about her. The only people she seems to be interested in are Misogi and Zenkichi. Zenkichi is the real mystery here, and is one of the only reasons I stick around to read this manga.

is certainly a possibility to be reckoned with, but I doubt that this is the case.
In any event, the more I think this arc more I cant take away of my mind that this arc will be important for Zen itself. That is, if you think about it is he who has more connections with the two Najimi and Hanten.
With Najimi we know that she are familiar with Zen in the past because of what Kumagawa said and as well as how she behaves with Zen the problem is we do not know what kind of relationship they had.
With Hanten is the fact that Zen is the best friend of Hansode and since it is the same family of Hanten (at least according to the surname). Speaking of Hansode if I remember well she also Zen childhood friend but we do not know how they met, I wonder if this arc will give us an answer as well in this regard (at least I not recall that is was explained in the manga).
to think of it all Shiranui family members that we know are took a great interest in Zen.
I mean Hakama Shiranui has taken an interest in Zen in the 13 plus arc for the incident of the door and for his victory again Munakata and that he could be friends with the abnormal and of course the fact that for 13 years has been to Medaka side .
As to the interest that has Hansode Shiranui regarding Zen do not think I have to explain it.
After writing all this came to my mind these questions.
I wonder if Hansode will help Zen during this arc?
I wonder if when Zen remember Najimi we have a nice back story on Zen itself , and of course I hope that in this back story would tell us how Zen met Hansode and how they become best friends.
And lastly I'm the only one who noticed that Zen and Najimi, beside having a similar personality both have a shiranui paired with them.

Japan must really, really dislike Kumagawa...

That is pretty ridiculous, though I mean I can't even think of 30 characters I even like in Medaka Box. It's not like it's One piece with dozen's or so decent characters. How the hell can any main-ish character end up 30.

I'd jump at the chance to tell him how much I love his manga, while also rant at him about how much his story could be improved if he focused on Zenkichi a bit.
