You should give it another name since I'm the best at it...

Funny to see all the Pats hate... I've come to accept it and just laugh it off but really... Anyone hear Brady's postgame speech? He admitted he sucked and credited the D with the win. I don't see why people hate him so much, he genuinely seems like a humble guy for all he's accomplished.
Um, you ever heard of the dynasty started on the tuck-rule? Or perhaps you may have heard about a little something called Spygate?...

Oh no, I can't see how anyone would hate on the Pats...It's not like they cheated for years with a long line of redtape that basically proves it ..

But yes Brady sucked today in part because he can't throw the deep ball...

Geez, the weather is messing up both teams. Both have had a major fumble they were fortunate to recover.

Tuck rule was a rule. What were they supposed to do, change the rules cuz it didn't seem right at the time? And wow.. Who hated the Pats back then? Other than the Green Bay superbowl the Patriots were TERRIBLE back then. What a massive injustice they won the game on a rule that was perfectly legitimate. And yeah, I was at the game so I will remember it for the rest of my life Got a nice framed picture of the kick with my ticket stub framed in there. I also recall during my childhood, people wearing bags over their heads cuz of how bad the Pats were... so get over it.

And if you're gonna hate the Patriots for 'spygate,' you should hate every team in the league. Because according to Boomer Esiason and others during that season, every team was doing it and Goddell had to specifically send out a memo regarding the issue telling teams to stop.

49ers are certainly stalling the Giants run and then some.

Hmmm... a different receiver gets a touchdown to even the score. The third down conversions helped along the way.

I think Brady's deep throw problem is more on the recievers

Welker- Scrappy inside the numbers reciever
Ochocinco- He was inactive for god's sake and is not a threat anymore
Edelman- See Welker
Branch- Only shows ability in 1 on 1's
Underwood-???

His best season (07) was when he had an actual deep threat (Moss)

Hm, didn't he throw a ton of deep balls that enitre 2007 season. Granted they were mostly all to Randy Moss, but they certainly were not bad throws.

It never seemed like they had an offense even centered around throwing it deep, but when he did end up throwing deep balls he never seemed awful at it. At least no where near to the extent you make it out to be.

That has become such a tired reason for hating the Patriots. Former coaches like Marty Schottenheimer, Bill Parcells, Jimmy Johnson, and Marv Levy all admitted to doing the same thing. The Oakland Raiders used to hire lip readers back in the 70's because they also used to steal signals. I think I also remember Mike Ditka saying on Mike and Mike that all the coaches during his time were doing the same thing. I'm sure there is plenty hidden in the underworld of Sports of people trying to get an unfair edge on there opponents, stuff probably far worse than what was going on with spygate.

Too many mistakes by the Ravens capped off by the Finkle/Einhorn ending.

Pretty much rooting for the 49ers now.

Two real close games here today. I don't know who I'd rather have the Patriots face.

Amazing defense by both sides. Smith has 1:47 to pull off what he did last week or we will get the overtime game we should have in the earlier game today. 49ers inability to convert ANY 3rd downs is killing them, though. Whereas the Giants can't run to save their life.

Edit: And now Eli will have 1:20 to.

Really? Niners have been 0-11 on 3rd down?

49ers have been horiffic on 3rd down all season. It's no surprise.

Well, they shut down that drive. Smith will have one last chance with :19, but likely we are headed for overtime.

Edit: And we are. Ironically the 49ers finally converted a 3rd down on that final play. If they had time left. Akers was in field goal range. Oh well, time to see who wins under the new rules.

Unlike the Steelers-Broncos game, I hope to see the new OT rules have an effect here.

49ers will be feeling slightly more secure with Akers. Tynes is not as reliable by quite a margin.

The game continues in OT. Besides the Giants stopping the 49ers on 3rd down, the punt turnover leading to the touchdown was also important.

Looks like the rain is coming down harder now. Could be a factor in the upcoming OT plays.
