Aha, yes, I've got Spanx on underneath. So the first day was a success (didn't do it today), and I even got a con award for it. Tomorrow's the Umineko photoshoot though, and there should be plenty of pictures then!

could it be I've seen the commission for that on DevArt, or is a different one?
it's absolutely lovely either way, just like the costume!

It may have been! They definitely do have a DA account, and even though they were hesitant they did a wonderful job. Unfortunately the only thing I can claim as my own is the hat pin and the moment of insanity that made me choose to cosplay as her. xD I was going to try and do the wig myself if the commission had fallen through, but luckily it didn't - I was really occupied with another cosplay I was also doing...

I'm still trying to find a bunch of good pictures, but here's something to last for now. XD One of my favourites so far.

as for the wig being on DA ... did the person display the wig there with a Kaito hat pin?

do you have a full picture of the cosplay?
and I also commend you for having enough skill to even think of doing Gaap's wig.
cutting fringes is all I can do. ;

I also did I little casual Umineko photoshoot with my friend just now.
I'll do my best to make them show - able asap, because I need to crop some here and there and edit the light in a few ...
and I need to stick Beato's drunken adventure together as a little comic rather than separate photos.
they'll probably be on their way to here tomorrow / this weekend. c:

I'm Winter's super mysterious friend. (/ shotdead )
I'm currently the owner of a Beato suit cosplay, but I'm going to do the
dress one as well, somewhere in spring next year. And I want to do
Natsuhi. o w o And reaaally maybe one of the stakes, but we'll have to
see how my figure and self-confidence are doing by the time I've got
some free costume space. I actually planned everything up to May next
year. OTL Oh well. Hi anyway, and feel free to call me Envy.

Last year, at a US convention I attended, I was surprised by the amount of Umineko cosplayers. I went as Virgilia and Apprentice Witch of Origins Maria. We had a Battler, two Shannons, Kanon, Natsuhi, Eva-Beatrice, a girl who went as Bernkastel one day and Erika another day, and a Ronove.
