So far there are only seven Level 5s anywhere. The main reason why this is so despite the number of AC's branches is probably because of Academy City being the only development center for espers and all others being just research centers.

Yes but maybe their is still chance. Like Accelerator's past. His from a research project of one of the branch. And I did say that the researchers develop weapons and accelerator can be considered weapon. It depends on how you viewed the research. Academy city is the leading city in weapon development and their weapons come in different ways. From over hax esper into artificial angels or even remote controlled robots.

The BGM used to introduce the start of almost every episode, right before the OP when Touma gives his epilogue. Does anyone know the title of the track?
And on that note, what exactly are the Index Archives 1-4?

Not sure if Phi was asking for their exact sorcery names, or the meaning of the latin used, so i'm adding this into Marcus' very educational reply. Maa, it's not like you can't find it on wikipedia. (why i even commit all these stuff to memory rather than the Navier-Stokes equation like i should be doing for classes... ┐('~`;)┌)

O.o
Actually, I assumed tsunade666 already knew about all of the sorcery names. 'Twas second nature for me as an Index fan. As for the meanings, Oriana's is the least connected to what she is right now. Second is Aureolus and then Kaori.

truthfully I don't remember it even in shana I don't remember their given title even if it's great and meaningful and it's in english. If you compare that on index with latin title the chances are lower for me to remember. Though I always heard Kaori said her magician names. As for the others. I usually forget it.... ooh oh I also remembered Aqua because among all. His title fit and doesn't fit him. His title connects with the one who change the meaning of TEAR!!! I mean at first look his all muscled body freak and typical superman. But in the core. His soft and like weak knight covered in armor. The vol 23 proves that one. His really interesting one. Specially in vol 17-18.

It could be subjective to them though. Oriana already mentioned that maybe what good she does might not result in a good ending after all, so it can be a mantra for her, to tell herself that it's ok whatever she does - in her own world, she will be the one who decides for herself. For Aureolus it might be more of a reminder that despite what he is able to do with Ars Magna, that he should never assume that he could play God. Guess obssession got the better of him though. I find Kaori's very fitting - the Amakusas have sacrificed themselves to save her before she left them, and now it is her turn to save them and others.
