Yah yah yah, you guys won.. MKV is good >_>
Yah you all won...
Using MKV now and MeGUI and hell, it looks better then indeed on VirtualDub.. Not that I still hate you all :P Anyhow, thanks for some headups and "HELP" from some encoders that actually did had a good point regarding me helping how to encode and in what fashion. All our releases will now be in MKV, whether its HardSubbed or SoftSubbed. Now stop flaming or I'll go and complain at your mommy ;P - Power2All |

Well yah..
If you know the H.264 in AVI topic, it was a hell of a discussion. But flaming people suck anyway, I love a good discussion, but I hate the flamers that try to get the blood out of your fingers, you know what I mean :/ - Power2All |

I don't think changing to MKV would be such a big problem, just might take some time to get used to. He can still encode in VDub if he wishes. AFAIK most encoders that encode to XviD use VDub, and it's useful for many other tasks as well. Furthermore many of VDub's filters have been ported to AviSynth anyway and updated too. And I have no clue whether P2All actually used AviSynth previously, most likely yes. I can hardly imagine working without it now...
On that h264 in AVI remark, take a look at some more recent raws (and Serin's recent releases). So now some people can start bashing on raw cappers...

Yes I recall it was a hell of a discussion on everyone's side but yours. It was also something like 6+ months ago. And all you did was ignorantly refuse any information given to you as well as make up bogus claims :P. It certainly was funny if anything.

I fucking loled.
Rawcappers are usually fair game Actually there are people out there trying to help the situation. I found that my guide had been linked to and partially translated by a Japanese person who runs what seems to be an encoding website (think along the lines of a Japanese doom9 aimed at encoding on mac with H.264). So there is some hope.

.mkv and h264 releases make me because... my computer isn't fast enough. xD My computer only has 731 MHz and 312MB of ram. Laggy anime = ;.;
I guess that's my fault though for not upgrading/buying a new computer. ^^; I'm sure I wouldn't mind if my computer was faster... and more up-to-date. ;D |
