Don't really have to read it on a weekly basis for that it'd probably be faster if you ignored it for a period of time then read it when it actually ends.

The father-son parallel was also nicely done.

Apparently, his father, who is a normal just like him, fell in love with and ran away from his mother because she is an extraordinary Abnormal.
That obviously affected Zenkichi while growing-up, as everytime he thought of his father, and saw himself reflected in him, he vowed that he wouldn't make the same mistake as him.

He wouldn't blame his mediocrity on someone who is extraordinary, his father's mistake.

So, in a way, we can see the effects that his father had on raising him, even while being totally absent!

Agree and I think this show ,again what kind of character Zen is.
No wonder he was able to become friend with so many people.

Tall Poppy Syndrome? His father left him? That explains a lot actually.

Man, this chapter, how can I say it... manly tears.

Everything in this epic fight was wonderfully played, culminating with one of the most if not the most awesome conclusion in the series. Iihiko just had a taste of his own irreversible damage. His spirit that had kept him alive for five thousand years, destroyed forever. Zenkichi hasn't come victorious of just one more fight. This is his most important victory, he didn't save Shiranui only, he saved all the humanity.

Nisio, once more, I take off my hat and salute you

Could anyone explain how Zen beats lihiko? Also what would have happen if Zen's kick would have landed on Iihiko?

Ohhh so by letting her take over for that one second she was able to regain control of her body and hit her self.

^Pretty much.
This was Zen plan from the beginning and that's why he sacrifice his own arm.

I kind of saw that one coming, Iihiko getting with his own attack and all.

I pretty much figured Iihiko would be taken out by his own power the second I learned damage he made could not be repaired...I did not expect it to be this way though xD

It remains to be seen how absolute his ability is though.

Its probably just because that is the usual way things run in stories but I have a hunch that all damage he previously dealt to the world is, now that he is gone for good, reversible.

They will wait until the nurse recovers and she will return everybody (even the dead) to the physical state before being beaten by Iithiko (and then the Doctor that was cut in half will kill her, since that ability is to broken to continue existing).

Interesting twist about Zenkichi's dad, ran away from his family because he couldn't handle feeling inferior to his Abnormal wife.

There so many parallels between Zenkichi and other people.

Misogi
Kamome
Fukurou

And his own father.

It's like a virtual "how to" of ways for Zenkichi to lose his way, maybe even turn evil.
Wonder if we'll ever see him in person.

And what's with the kanji and Fukuro's tongue?
"To Hand Down to, Pass on, Bequeath"

Must be the style he created just for IIhiko, maybe we'll see it after all.

I realized that I don't hate the manga as much as I hated the heroine. The manga is actually alright even I hated the plot twists and the anti climatic endings to each arc. I felt that the recent fight with Iihiko could had gone longer but as with Oudo, Ajimu, Kumagawa, Unzen and Momozono it was a logical way to end the arc. I don't hate story or fandom but some characters irritate me greatly. It may not be different from I said earlier but I am not really as cranky as I was.

Given how death is handled in this manga, I wouldn't be surprised if Iihiko's powers could reversed by a style or skill that reverse anything Iihiko destroyed. That was basically All Fiction but that was defeated by Iihiko.

Misogi
Kamome
Fukurou
Similar to Misogi, Zenikichi is a loser who couldn't possibly hope to keep up with anyone. Whereas Kumagawa decided that life was meaningless, Zenikichi chose to be positive and optimistic.

Similar to Kanome, Zenikichi grew up without a father and secretly resented his father for leaving him.

Similar to Fukurou, he grew in shadow of his friend and lover and secretly resented for being so awesome while he was mediocre.
