I still don't get why people keep thinking Kotarou stayed a tree in Shizuru's ending. If Sakuya came back, so will he. Also, that is confirmed in HF. He does NOT stay a tree.

Not even getting into HF, I thought it was pretty clear from the hint just before the calamity that Shizuru would end up doing what Chihaya did to Sakuya.

Well, just because you are not a Summoner doesn't mean you can't learn how to be one , not even mentioning Shizuru did the process once in the route.

No one can teach her in that route and I don't think the process is the same as sharing her life energy.

Even Terra-Kotarou is able to transform back because there are 5 summoners

Also, if chibi Chihaya can do that (talent, etc) I doubt Shizuru doesn't have a chance. And Sakuya was even greater/stronger existence compared with Kotarou in Shizuru's route.

So, after a bit of a marathon I'm at the Terra route...

Chihaya's route was perhaps the most surprising. I admit I didn't like her character much at first, but her route was so darn epic that I ended up liking her. Also, Sakuya's situation gives me new insight about Chizuru's ending, so I'm not disappointed with it anymore.

Akane's route was pretty good. What it lacked in fighting it got in emotion...though I'm kind of perplexed that the two of them still managed to get a good ending, given the circumstances. I think I facepalmed at the scene where Kotarou said he'd force Akane to live so that she could atone for what she did.
And then they got away with getting banished to an explored corner of compressed space.
After wiping out mankind.

Lucia's route failed to capture my attention. I didn't like her character before, and I failed to warm up to her at all during her route, unlike Chihaya.

Moon was pretty.... Bad. It's pretty telling that my favorite part of it was when the occult club was having fun messing around with evolution. Sakuya's sacrifice felt hollow... was supposed to be a big thing, but it was over so quick that it felt more like a side note.
The route's ending was kind of sad though.

So far I'm enjoying Terra. I had no idea that Kotarou was in the hospital for so long after his meeting with Kagari!
The route itself is pretty cool, I'm really enjoying this alternate timeline, but it irks me that most of the time when I'm presented with a choice, the game forces me to pick one of the many choices.
What's the point in giving it in the first place? "Look at all the nice choices you could pick! Too bad you WILL PICK THIS ONEEEEEEE!"

You might want to check the moon route again to further your understanding on what happened in that route.

If I understood it correctly, I'm only allowed to pick those choices because those are the correct branches that will lead to a future where mankind doesn't disappear, as Kagari and Kotarou figured out during the Moon route.
I just find it a little annoying that sometimes I'm "asked" to input 2 or 3 choices... but I've no actual choice.

Which is the whole point.. not having a choice because it's already been written...

Right?



But anyway, it's just a minor technicality. I understand the idea (I think), but the way it was done kind of gets in the way of my reading every now and then

Technically, there's 2 multiple choice events.

It should've shown the choices, then autopicked the correct one. Think it would've made more sense rather then presenting the illusion of choice. Moon already explained why it was this way, so it should've just autopicked.
