I've never lost sleep watching anime, but I have spent entire days doing so. Maybe 10 hours (2 hours for various chores, eating, bathroom etc.).

Kudos, I could never stay awake that long watching Anime, especially not when I'm drinking. Guess my watching habits are kinda to blame here too..

My longest session was probably with Haruhi, I somehow managed to stay awake for the whole 2 seasons + the movie, which would usually be impossible for me. Enjoyed endless eight in particular, I really think it was quite awesome, allthough my brain felt like melting.

When I was younger, I watched a ton of Ranma consecutively. It was basically an all-day thing.

Nowadays, watching 3 episodes at a time seems like a lot. Oh, how times change

Berserk, Excel Saga, and 7-8 episodes of Escaflowne with a friend before we fell asleep, probably a little more than 24 hours with food and bathroom breaks... Good times

ROFL, I was gonna say the exact same thing. I watched the first 50 episodes of D. Gray-Man in one sitting on Netflix. I remember having some dark, dark, dreams after that one.

Also, recently watched Bokurano and Madoka back to back, over the course of about three days. I don't recommend anyone doing this unless they want to drive themselves to the brink of suicide.

Oh god, I also watched half of D.Grayman in like one sitting (in crunchyroll in the pre-legal era). That's like 16-17 hours yo.

I once marathoned Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in one sitting. I skipped episode 16 (the recap episode), so it was something like 9.5 hours. (I skipped most of the OPs and EDs).

Though for manga, one time I totally NO-LIFE'd Bleach (when I first started reading the manga) and read something like 300+ chapters in one sitting. I don't even know how long that took me. I'm guessing it was at least two full days, but I'm not sure. Might have been longer. Time kinda blurred together at that point.

I don't last long: the most anime I've watched in one go was a completion of the Haruhi movie over 2 hours and 42 minutes. Otherwise, I tend to watch anime in, at most, threes (for roughly an hour or so).

Recently did Baccano! in a whole sitting not sure how many hours that was, was with my wife and a few other friends. It went pretty fast.

I think the longest period of time I sat down and watched a anime was like 10 hours to 11 I think I was watching Cowboy bebop or Cromartie High School.

Lol. Does this say something positive about D. Gray-Man or something negative about all three of us suckers who marathoned 50 episodes of it?

3 hours most of the time, I rarely marathon any shows unless it's really that captivating it demands all of my attention till the end I could say at least 6 hours, since I did it for Oreimo no Imouto, Ana Hana, and The Money The Soul and Possibility.
