Just him and Touma have the same hair colour, if he had orange hair like Ichigo, people would probably be saying "doesn't he look just like Ichigo form bleach?!"

Did TBS just drop the 4:3 cropping deal for its Thursday late-night shows? I quickly checked out a stream and the video's in perfectly normal 16:9. I wonder if the same's happened with Kämpfer, I couldn't check in time. Of course, I wouldn't complain - the fact that the raws for these two timeslots were always horrible usually made me not watch the ongoing shows. I'd love to find a nice Nyankoi raw later tonight.

very nice opening song done by Yui Sakakibara. Ending is nice too but still prefer the opening hehe.
Animation looks very nice as well can't wait for subs :3

My favorite months are April, October, and January in that paritcular order. I liked the first episode. Is there any role Ryoko Tanaka can't voice without losing her aura? She is a talking cat and still musters so much command. And zoomg, they managed to get Fukuyama-san to voice Tama.

Voice acting was superb and for that very reason the comedy was in sync. Episode 1 ensured that I'll be coming back for more with this series. Some screen shots for episode 1:

Well, that didn't do much for me. And I'm a cat lover. Iguchi Yuka was good. But nothing else, for me so far. Asanuma Shintarou's vocal antics turned me right off. I liked the angular type and drop-shadows in the ED....

I recognize my harem series when I see it. And I like my harem series. An honest fan over here.

I'll also have to admit that I'm intrigued by the fact Ryoko Tanaka wants to do a role like this one. The ending theme visual gives face to which young lady she will be. Intriguing indeed.

I enjoyed this. It's a nice, cute and fun show, that just gives a warm fuzzy feeling to watch. No greatness here, but a pleasant way to pass the time. I like the character design too.

Reminds me of Hyakko, for some reason.

I also think this Kawaguchi guy knows how to tickle a fancy. This show should be just as enjoyable as long as the premise continues to stay simple. The silliness will follow automatically.

I didn't expect anything good at all because of the unmoving PV and artwork (which isn't bad... but not my type), but it was pretty funny. Can't say much about the oh-so-average character designs and the reused animation early in the episode though. But it was pretty good. OP fits the anime... Don't really like the song though. ED is good. The protagonist looks like Touma, and coincidentally, the heroine's voice is Index. Definitely going to continue watching... Unless it suddenly gets boring for some reason... Which shouldn't happen? Anyways, 99 more deeds, so I guess still another 99 or so episodes, huh. Spoiler for Nyan Koi! 01 - The Witch's Familiar: Spoiler for Fanboyish Love Letter: This show is directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi. The man behind Moetan, Zettai Karen Children, and the first season of Hayate no Gotoku!. I have an amazing amount of respect for this guy despite barely knowing anything about him. His style - fast and comedy-laden, with the occasional shout-out and love of things like Sentai teams and shiritori games - means that he directs pretty much how I would direct if I ever got a chance to be behind the wheel of an anime. This is a dude who knows his comedy in ways I wish I could be an apprentice to. In fact, he's played a key part in my arrival on the anime scene. Back when I started watching non-mainstream anime in the summer of 2007, Moetan was one of the first shows I happened upon when I had no standards for what I was watching. I loved it, and to this day I have proudly not developed any standards. But as for Nyan Koi!... Whimsical. One of my favorite words, and one of the ones I'd use to describe this series. In fact, the premise reminds me of an inverted version of a series I enjoyed as a kid - 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd. Just with the threat of being turned into an animal and doing the deeds, instead of being turned into an animal, then having to do the deeds. For the reasons detailed above in my spoiler-within-a-spoiler, this series is one that I'm most looking forward to.
