Yes. A part of me is still waiting for the other shoe to fall off. If we have a rash of injuries to a lot of our key players it could potentially happen. But even so we're already 5-1 at this point and even during the bye week the entire NFC West save us, lost. It would be the worst, and I mean the worst choke job in NFL history.

I was just thinking the other day that it's actually possible the 49ers could get the second seed in the NFC when it's all said and done. I think Green Bay wins the division up north. And that leaves the NFC East and NFC South. The NFC East doesn't seem to have a dominant team at this point. And I don't see one team in the NFC South dominating either as one team could potentially lose to any other team in that division. The 49ers have a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way facing Arizona twice, Seattle once, and the Rams twice. The only games that really concern me on the schedule would be at Baltimore and at home against Pittsburgh and the New York Giants.

What I don't get from that game is why the Ravens hardly went to Ray Rice. I get he had his first fumble in about 522 plays, but if Flacco wasn't able to get it done, why didn't they give Ray more of a chance?
Well, is Cam Cameron the reason Flacco struggled in the playoffs last season? Ever since then, Flacco just hasn't been anywhere near his best.

Too much blame is put on Cam. He's by no means perfect in his play-calling but some fans pretend Joe's inconsistent mechanics and pocket presence aren't just as big an issue as the play-calling. Shoddy o-line play doesn't help either.

Well, Baltimore are in a bit of a logjam now. Pittsburgh are slowly getting better. Cincinatti are no longer bad. And somehow Cleveland is racking up wins...Baltimore need to get a move on. AFC North is one of those divisions that is going to be hard to get out of.
And it just occured to me why there's so many weaker games on at the moment. Baseball World Series...

Remember how Detroit made such a fuss about Harbaugh last week?
This week Detroit taunts Atlanta. So much for protocol, Schwartz...

You don't jump in the air and slap (or brazenly push) the opposing coach on the back in a dismissive way in the NFL after the game...I've never seen a coach EVER do what Harbaugh did...Now grant it I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it, but how anyone could watch the reverse angle of that film with Harbaugh clearly looking as if he's almost pushing Schwartz out of the way, and not see why things turned out that way, I don't know what to say...A premeditated taunt, no I doubt that...Hell I don't think it was a taunt at all really...A bit aloof and disrespectful? Yes I thought it was clearly that...
