There is an English version, called "Sweet Ann", but the voice is more like an old 20's/30's lounge singer. Kind of a sultry sound I guess but the English isn't as good as the Japanese due to needing more vowels and consonants. Still extremely impressive considering the technology.

Thank you for the link. Very interesting. For long years, this sort of "experimental" music is periodically proposed (even before the digital music age). I myself made somewhat similar song when I bought a music synthesizer and a sampler.

According to Amazon.co.jp, the publisher of Miku started selling Sweet Ann, too, on 5 Oct. (with the Japanese operation manual, I guess.) I wouldn't be surprised if I see her pictures in moe-style.
