That's pretty much my observations as well, especially after reading both mangas it seems to makes the most sense (Maho feeling conflicted even if she doesn't say it).

As for seeing more exotic vehicles like the Centurion and T-44, I'd rather see those in action simply because those by nature get less attention.

Huh, you're right. My memory of that got muddled. Still, that's a 85mm gun against something like 20mm of armor on the side of the 38(t)'s turret - without unobtanium plating I'm guessing that'd leave a mark.

i dont expect everyone to enjoy the irony of such a joke but a Girls Und Panzer fan vid with Sabaton's (metal band) song Panzer Battalion would be pretty cool or just ironic.

the series has grown on me a bit and i am enjoying the show. its a tad bit annoying that some subs use the german names for some subbed lines but the audio gives a good enough hint as to what they're saying. living on a aircraft carrier/ city ship is an interesting setting though given a war to break out (unlikely in the series) is not that advantageous if the ship is sinking.

on the technical side of the tanks, did all german tanks use straight gears in their transmissions? i do know some of their best tanks were plagued by transmission breakdowns because the gears couldnt take the strain. if im correct, the American made allied tanks use angled gear teeth making them more reliable than the German ones. i belive many german tanks spent lots of time on train cars to get close to their center of operations to limit the damage (in transit) on the gears.

IIRC the subtitles for the episodes on Crunchyroll aren't full of German words.

True, but Chrunchyroll also cuts parts out of some episodes. Wisest to go with the group that doesn't use random German and doesn't cut out pieces of the episodes. They also get fewer things wrong than the ones that use random German, too.

the site i chose to visit to see most of my series im following goes with one of the German subbed words. i dont use torrents anymore but if i see a stream that has the full english then i'll switch to that one.

That group still makes a fair number of translation errors, some of which are important enough that they change the meaning of what's being said, leading to confusion. I stand by the other non-Crunchyroll group.

Two of the three we heard in episode 5. And Yukari told us all three by eye in the OVA swimsuit episode. That's actually probably why she reacted the way she did to the measurements in episode 5, because her measurements by eye in the special episode were proven right.

Nope. Actual episode 5. Everyone was lined up in gym clothes, Sodoko was measuring Miho with Yukari looking on and reacting with delight to Miho's measurements while Mako was feeling up Saori's assets.
