Nah, Poseidon wanted to create an utopia with his chosen humans ^^
Hades was sick of mankind, and wanted them all dead. As i see it, Athena was just an obstacle that he didn't feel the need to fight. Both did however wish to rule the land. |

Honestly, I really REALLY hope so. The next few chapters are my favorite as it have Kardia and Degel, not to mention the sexy Violate. Damn, the anime/manga was not appreciated enough in here if you ask me. Anyway, we are still waiting for any official announcement.
Edit: Anyway, the last few episodes made me love Hakurei, I know that he was cool in manga, but somehow seeing him in animated form left a bigger impression on me, especially since he is voiced by a powerful voice actor such as Horiuchi. Not only does character's actions are badass itself but his design is superb as well. A master to wish for no doubt. Spoiler for Hakurei screenshot:

Next dimension and Lost Canvas can't be both be canon for the simple reason they are telling the same story (that of Tenma) yet are completely different (the Gold saints in ND aren't the same as in Lost Canvas for one, save for Dohko and Shion obviously; and Sasha doesn't exist).

Yeah, I kinda glad that other storyteller finally step in and 'take over' the reign from Kurumada in Lost Canvas. To me, Kurumada's story has so many plot holes and some of them are SO BIG you could blow Athena Exclamation right through it!

It has been confirmed that ND will eventually be made into an anime. But it will probably take a few years before that comes to pass.
Yes, LC is branded a "side-story" and ND is the canon continuation of Saint Seiya. Why is the time travel bad in ND? It made perfectly sense to me. |

Spoiler for Response Dohko and Previous Saint Seiya Series:
I finally got around to watching the end of this season. It is sad to see that there are currently no plans to continue for a third season, since I have found that this series is very good in its own way compared with the original Saint Seiya series. They tell there stories in a different way. I can't believe we are only at the halfway point of the manga, as someone mentioned. I thought this was near the end already, considering all the casualties so far of so many powerful warriors. This show is definitely unforgiving, but I love it.

I can't believe I am late to the party! But wow! This second season of lost canvas blew me away. It is damn shame that Saint Seiya never had any recognition in the US. I registered in these forums in 2003 just to advertise SS, but it seems it is a lost cause =(
The action, the story, the graphics and the music are all top notch. This is by far one of the best action animes out there. The question is, why is this series so ignored in Animesuki and the US while it is just as famous as Dragon ball in the rest of world?

What went wrong with Saint Seiya in the USA is the same reason for what went wrong with One Piece. The one and only 4Kids company essentially destroyed many shows in the USA. Saint Seiya was actually distributed by DiC, but they tried to follow the 4Kids model. They edited and dumb down Saint Seiya to a level that was unbearable. The current issue with Lost Canvas is that it is not considered canon since the mangaka, Shiori Teshirogi, is the author instead of the original mangaka, Masami Kurumada. Although I think this version is awesome in so many ways, Masami Kurumada decided to write his own version as well titled Saint Seiya: Next Dimension.
