IMO it's guilt and the fact that the author has recognised the power of yuri (after the response form GRZ) and is giving Kensuke the shaft (or rather a kick in the nut).

Kagura who has killed Yomi twice basically now is saving her? Is there an explained reason for this? I mean she had amnesia I guess so when she got her memories back shouldn't she have realized again that Yomi is evil? I guess I'm annoyed with the whole Kensuke and Kagura finally becoming a couple and then she seems to run back to Yomi even after getting her memories back. I guess I'm just curious about the circumstances that lead up to her helping Yomi? If its guilt over killing her still...

Yomi was never evil to begin with. It was the power of the Sesshōseki that tured Yomi evil and forced Kagura to kill her. She defiantly never wanted too. When Kagura saw Yomi inside her friend and saw both the good and bad, Kagura figured that their might be some way of saving Yomi and wants to take that chance. Though i'm not sure if she or the others fully understand how Yomi came back. If they don't, then i'm not surprised that Kagura still sees this as some opportunity to get Yomi back.

Thanks, that explains part of it, though I expected more from Kagura I guess.

This is what I'm really afraid of... but hopefully, the whole situation with Yomi will be resolved and we keep the pairing of KensukexKagura... maybe the author doesn't quite want to end the manga just yet and is dragging it out? That's what it sounds like to me

Still, we'll hopefully find out more in a month

Well when you think about Kagura's situation, it could not have been easy at all for her. Yomi was like a dear sister to her and it must have hurt alot to have to kill her. I could not imagin what it was like when Yomi turned into a fully evil spirit and Kagura had to kill her again. I really don't blame Kagura for doing what she did recently.

... and a quick question: am I the only one around here who simply sees Yomi and Kagura's relationship as Kagura thinking of Yomi as a very close sister, and that her romantic feelings still are for Kensuke?

... if you guys can't tell, I'm not exactly a fan of yuri/shoujo-ai (probably one of the few guys in existence who's like this)

Your right, her relationship with Yomi is like an younger sister/older sister type relationship. She and Kensuke do have romantic feeling for one another. esp. in 32 when

Sure Yomi kissed her in ep. 4 of Ga-Rei zero, but they were just joking around.

... which usually drives me nuts due to my animosity towards yuri and shoujo-ai. I was also probably taking some of the comments about the latest stuff a little too far... Kagura just wants her Onee-sama back, I would guess

Close to the only one. You do get the close sister/friend feeling from the two, but that's how many romances start off in manga. Move from a close relationship to yuri and it feels like the yuri feel has permeated many levels of their relationship.

I'm still waving the flag for close sisters... well, we'll see how this plays out. Although, I don't know whether I'll be pissed or laugh when Kagura finds out that Yomi is still evil (I think she is, at least), and she gets stabbed in the back
