i typically try avoiding any Hosaka rant/delusions in any episode but this episode was epic. there were no annoying dreams but very funny series of brainwashing. it was fitting that Chiaki was one of the many victims and also funny to see Hayami getting it back at her. Haruka getting brainwashed at the end wasbest added touch after Chiaki broke free of the brainwashing. its a bit puzzling that Kana didnt get brainwashed but its not unexpected. this was one of the best episodes in the top 10 ive seen so far and im suprised its a Hosaka centric one at that. it was hilarious seeing Chiaki struggle to eat veggies before brainwashing and even funnier when she wanted them.

Atsuko thinks Hosaka is cool and would want him as a boyfriend if only he wasn't you know weird and going after futility for Haruka.

Atsuko is the girl who doesn't know how to interact with the opposite sex. Touma's ototo-moe makes her dangerously close to being a shotacon.

Mistaking Touma as a boy. It doesn't help Touma wears boy clothes and male pronouns around her.

Thankfully Touma is a girl. She doesn't know that yet.

It's odd, Atsuko has been with Touma in many chapters where Touma is in girl clothing, ch50, ch60, ch69, but by chapter 105 she forgot which kid Touma was and then the gag continues in ch137.

In light of today's very musical episode, a new character song album was announced. It'll feature Hosaka's musical numbers, certainly, and new songs for the very expansive main cast. Minami-ke has produced some good songs in the past, so I'm looking forward to this one too.

That second part was just wonderfully creepy-surreal, and I was convinced it just had to be a dream sequence but then they didn't end it like one.

I had wondered at the start if we were getting a reprise of the curry song, but instead we got a barbecue song and a vegetable song. I think that character song album Midonin mentions is going on my shopping list.

I approve of this episode.

Not just for Hosaka, but good use of Chiaki with Hosaka. While Natsuki invokes Chiaki's defense of Haruka, I get the feeling Hosaka "The Curry Fairy" would be nearly instantly approved by Chiaki as a suitor for Haruka. While I don't know what Kana would do, she approves of food, and she can probably mess with Hosaka at least half as well as Hayami. The question mark in the family would actually be Haruka.

Atsuko and Touma are great together. A vegetable brainwashing show should be required watching for some people, that was just too great. Combined with all the Hosaka antics, another great ep.

Natsuki manning the grill was pretty cool.
Lots of Chiaki screentime this episode.

From the preview, looks like Hitomi and Fujioka get to share some screentime. Two of my favorites, looking forward to it.

Touma being attached to Atsuko is kind of wierd. I do remember Touma falling asleep on Atsuko chest and finding it very soft, but didn't expect it to develop into something.

Damn the second half of this episode definitely laugh and made me go WTF at the same time.

Too bad the gag didn't last a little longer I would've loved the see the look on everyones faces while Hayami chances Hitomi down the halls yelling "EAT MY SAUSAGE!" repeatedly.

lol, its obvious that she was immune to the brain washing. i left that comment for ironic purposes. then you can say Chiaki is also bakayarou. she can totally phase out convos while others tell the shocking truth ie Mako-chan arguing with Kana about Chiaki finding out his secret. then again that obliviousness is part of Chiaki's character.

The subs by UTW rock! They give a background chit chat of Touma/Atsuko on top while the main focus was on Nat/Kana/Chiki. I love it how Touma said Atsuko has more cushion than Maki.

Hayami segment was fun, I enjoy how she is the biggest sadist in this series (actually the only sadist).

Kana not being brainwash really tells a lot, she is smart enough to resist the hypnosis.

That was THE funniest episode I've ever seen from Minami-ke. It shoved every joke I lost myself in from earlier seasons and also tossed in new ones. I'm STILL holding my sides and wiping my tears. How in the bloody hell is anyone supposed to focus on the conversations when such an epic barbecue song is playing in the background is beyond me.

I believe that's Ono-san(Hosaka's VA). Ono's got a nice voice.

Though I find it funny in just about everything he's been in has something to do with food...Sebastian was a butler, Koizumi has a food song, Hosaka and his vegetables, even Kuroh had a food song
