Anime/Manga/Game Identification Help [See first post]

anyone able to tell me what manga this is, I cannot remember for the life of me and I want to reread it. Brief Summary below

Brother is going to school and lives in an apartment by himself. Parents send his sister to live with him after they found out she had a girlfriend. Girlfriend gets kicked out/runs away to be with the sister, ends up moving in with the sister and her brother. Eventually two girls break up and then ex-girlfriend starts chasing after the brother.

I have a few that i've always wanted to read again but couldn't because i forgot the title, but i'll just put 2 here for now.

This one is quite recent, it was scanlated 1-2 years ago, it's set in a universe where psychic powers exist but in secret. The main character is a guy who doesn't know about the powers, has a best friend who went missing, and a dead girlfriend who died earlier. He always looks at the last text message she sent him and a picture of them together is his phone wallpaper i think. It also involves a 'witch' (i think) who got secluded on an uninhabited island because her psychic powers were too powerful. To get revenge she somehow contacted the main characters best friend and gave him the ability to use his powers. The friend then returns and gives the main character some trinket that allows him temporary powers. Thats all i remember.

This other one is a romance, its about a guy who had a crush on this really weird girl in middle school, and then they went to different high schools and lost contact because he wrote something that offended her in a letter he sent without realizing it. He then befriends a girl in high school who hadn't been to school for awhile because she was bullied for rejecting a guy who confessed to her casually. I vaguely remember her name was 'Souma' or something.

After asking around since the story looked interesting to me I got told that this is Zetsuen no Tempest.

This is from a Visual Novel, Fate/Stay Night (PS2 version, Realta Nua).
To be more precise, it is from the last route, Heaven's Feel, showing Kotomine Kirei and Emiya Shirou.

God, No. Not at all.

It's an old, OLD, OOOOOOLLLLLLLLDDDDDDD shoujo manga cliche that predates Evangelion by decades.
In fact, the reason why it was done in Eva was a parody of such cliche.



Whether or not it was a real cliche is unknown, but the concept of it being a cliche has been in the field since... as far as I can remember.
In fact, many manga researchers claim the cliche didn't actually start from an actual scene, and the concept of it being a cliche came first.
Nonetheless, many manga/anime have used it as a parody of such cliche (Evangelion being one example) regardless of it possibly being a fabricated one.

Further research show that these elements often existed independently.
Girl running as she's late to school, then bumping into the male lead.
Girl running as she's late to school, with bread in her mouth.
These elements were found in shoujo manga as far back as the 1960s.
It's quite possible the cliche was created as a combination of these elements, and became regarded as such in the later years.
One researcher has noted he remembers it being regarded as a common cliche already by the 1970s.
