Well unlike the other prizes there's only one helmet being given away so it just comes down to which lucky(?) buyer ends up getting that

I'm a Hanemura fan but I certainly wouldn't want the helmet, it's really ugly in my opinion

Now I'm really curious of the prizes of the main 4, especially Aika. An ice shaver Something Shakespeare related?

Most of the ep was a waste indeed. Well we now know who the mage of exodus is. Lol Samon making another mistake again and trying to pit Mahiro against Yoshino.

Mostly recap episode, but I think that's understandable given it's been quite a gap since the last episode was on.
Setting the scene quite nicely for the second part of the series, though.

I feel like if there's a recap, now would be the best time to air given a 2 week break. In addition, the recap was well done because it was done in MAHIRO's point of view, which is interesting since for the most part everything was done in Yoshino's POV.

Also, the ED is pretty nice. the music is not as great as the last one, but the video is pretty good, and I'm sure there is a lot to talk about from it.

However, if Yoshino is a MoE then I think that he is no ordinary MoE, but maybe the "Prince" of the Exodus clan-kind of like how Hakaze is the "princess" of the Kusaribe clan. I say he is not ordinary because he has enough power to make Hakaze fall for him. Even I found it strange that she fell for him so quickly. Something is up there.

I'm suspecting the same things, but I don't see how it connects to Hakaze's feelings. I don't find it all that strange since Yoshino was the who continued believing in her throughout and the guy who played the biggest role in saving her life; plus if they've been traveling together in the month Mahiro was recovering, it wouldn't be all that surprising for her feelings to blossom in that time.

Still, a recap episode in this day and age? I thought the industry was past that stage already. I don't need one, and I don't believe anyone else needs it either. Much rather see them take an extra week's break if they were going with something like this.

Seeing how little has been at face value so far, call me skeptical on Yoshino being the Mage of Exodus, especially when they give us a 1-2 shot with the other boy calling himself the MoE. I'm gonna guess that the two, plus Aika, will all have reasonable explanations for possibly being the MoE for a number of episodes, just to keep up with the spirit of the show.

Welp, just as I was deadset on Aika being the mage of Exodus, here we have who proclaims he is the one AND has the power to back it up.

And as someone who hates recap episodes, I really didn't like this one. Over half was recap, and was bored out of my mind until Mahiro woke up.

Not too surprised if Mahiro does go after Yoshino, considering he was Aika's boyfriend after all. But why Samon wants him dead? Just because Princess has a crush on him? XD

From the previews, it seems like the Princess is all about Yoshino, so she might be neglecting her "duties" in saving the world. Hence, Samon wants him dead. However, it also seems like Yoshino will have some sort of powers as well. However, it will be interesting to see if this new guy is truly the Mage of Exodus, and if he is the true killer of Aika.

Mahiro's dream was interesting.
Seems like this was just a summary episode.
The second part was very interesting, but also kinda confusing.
Story about the Tree saving the world was kinda surreal.
Wonder how the story's gonna continue..

Ah, it's finally back. Even though it was mostly a recap, I still enjoy the sullen, mysterious atmosphere of this episode and for this series for that matter.

you know..all those explanation inside the dream....is it done by aika? so aika has to be somewhat still exist in some form to tell about what happen in the outside and remind him about the revenge that he doing is wrong...

Spoiler for 13: So... instead of the short flashback with Mahiro and Aika sharing corn they just spent the entire episode with weird scenes along with a recap of the past 12 episodes for Mahiro's dream At least Hanemura appeared at the very end of the episode.
