Well I'm sure Yayoi has her own work to do. Since Murasaki isn't staying with Shinkurou there is no reason to watch over him now. Besides I doubt Yayoi wants to get dragged into that harem .

Haha, was not expecting this at all, but it was fun to watch, though the designs are different this time around. What happened to the little girl's incestuous-by- tradition brother? Will she just stay with him?
I totally forgot about him. I must have erased that sicko from my memory. I sure don't miss him.

She is busy with her boss and boy is her boss busy.

Haha I don't blame you! He's just . . . ugh. I want to strangle him with my bare hands. :O

So, in conclusion, I want at least a scene where he gets his butt kicked superhard. I don't care who does it.

Cool

Pretty good although I found Murakami's computer breaking down kind of boring and I think Murakami overreacted here with Murasaki=>
Spoiler:
I do think that Murasaki was rather adorable with her swimsuit here=>
Spoiler:
However it does not beat the appeal of Yuuno/Murakami in swimsuits here=>

Now I know why Ginko cherishes her computer here=>
Spoiler:

Overall the first part was amazing with Yuuno kicking in her swimsuit the other parts were ok I guess. 7/10.

Well that's good to know. I never liked her family that kept her isolated. But at this point where is Benitsubasa? Around the Denpa teki series?

I am not sure why the artwork is the primary target of criticism. The manga did not come much earlier than the anime itself, and although there should be some insert images in the novel, there shouldn't be many. So there is little to comparethe arts with to say which is better and which is worse. Well, people might dislike the art of the anime based on their own view of what's beautiful and what's not, but that's to each of his or her own.
There were plenty of them to determine how characters look and that TV series screwed their looks eventually.

Oh man is Yuuno's bathing suit awesome. I'm not just talking about how it fits her, but the design is awesome.

Are there supposed to be more OVAs on the way, or was this a one-shot sorta deal?

There will be another one after this. Hopefully there'll be even more planned afterwards.

Episode two is scheduled to come out 3 December, with a special edition of volume 6 of the manga. There was a live event for the new OVA on 20 September. Director Matsuo Kou is quoted on 2channel as saying a number of things.

-- He chose four of the original seiyuus without auditions: Sawashiro Miyuki (Shinkuro), Shintani Ryouko (Yuuno), Sanada Asami (Tamaki), and Kuroda Takuya (Renjou).
-- He and Yuuki Aoi saw alike, but not Sawashiro Miyuki. He and she just think differently. But they get along well, anyway.
-- Because the show was pre-scored, the lines sometimes had to be changed during voice recording, and seiyuus sometimes complained
-- Despite this being just a short OVA, he chose animators who were good enough to do series, and had some trouble matching schedules.
-- Ao-chan (Yuuki Aoi) is really cute, but hearing her recently, she has become an adult.
-- He loves Ao-chan, but that doesn't mean he's a lolicon, he's an "Ao-con."

Say, Kaoru. Thanks for that bit. I always like to read/watch stuff about 'the making of'. I would say, from that, that the animators did a good job. Sounded like they really wanted to do something properly for a change.

kita kita kita Episode 2 is here. This show happens to be one of my all time favorite series where I can indulge my harem/loli fantasies in abundance while observing the need for style, essence, and balance. On top of it I got this rare opportunity to come and play online at the very day this episode comes out. Happy.

Hi there lolitron!

Yes, Kirihiko-chan was awesome once again. She can explode walls by swiping it with a mere butter knife. Murasaki was cute as a button too when she offered herself in various poses in various getup after capturing them all in a picture album so Shinkuro can add to his "takara mono" the other girls previously discovered in Shinkuro's room. The girls in this show cracks me up to no end. They just do!

P.S. Yeah, haven't been that active lately for various reasons. Hopefully, such will change soon. As for the newly acquired numerous nick names, just let them know you are lolitron first and foremost.

I'm seriously a pervert for speed reading that as "She can explode balls by wiping it with a mere butter knife" . I nearly grabbed my balls as I imagined the pain that must be (I blame my phone, really! T-the text is small on phones, you know!)

Ahem, still though, just reading your post makes me want to not wait to see this next installment. Now I've got something to look forward to since Stargate Universe is in another of those half a year breaks

It's always like that: the first nickname ever is the most memorable one

Things change, ja. Look at me, years 2008-2009 was The Disappearance Of Mangatron, and now I'm (partially) back

I hope these sell enough that they do a TV series. The first one was so awesome, even the fillers were (surprisingly for fillers) great. I think they have enough content to do a cour too.

Wow, now I remember why I liked this series so much. The OVA makes me reminiscence the series. It would be nice if they have a second one, but considering how long it has been since the last series, it probably will be unlikely.

The action and humor is spot on for this series. Well maybe if I am lucky someday, I will buy the rights to a lot of series I like and make sequels out of them.

I've been trying to figure out why I haven't really enjoyed the two OVAs much. I think it may be because Murasaki is not really at the centre of the show. The TV series was built around her escape and protecting her from being recaptured. Here, there is no strong thread like that to hold the thing together.

And they are playing it too much for laughs and fighting, and not enough for the emotions of the main characters -- for my taste. I did think Yuuki Aoi came closer to recreating Murasaki in episode two than she did in ep1.

That's because Murasaki's story was the first arc of the series and naturally she no longer becomes the main focus, which imo has always been Shinkurou. She does however still make her presence known in each arc and even does a few things reminiscent of her impressive maturity displayed in her own arc. The manga does have it's dark and serious moments (the light novels even more, I hear), they just weren't done in the ovas.

In the end, these ovas are just little treats to the manga readers but at the same time such a damn tease about the possibility of seeing a second season looking like that . I enjoyed them very much.
