That and the love he has for her isn't elaborated upon. Wait til they actually interact in the next episode. After all, you can love someone and not be "in love" with them.

Most have already figured he would love her in some way anyway as she did save his life by giving up half of her own or whatever that deal was. So it's too early to jump to conclusion on what type of love he has for the Princess. Especially since the amount of death flags she has would make even Shoko blush.

There's also the possibility of Lise having become a Magius too, or always was, as she doesn't seem ignorant to the reality of the situation.

Which in turn may give reason for L-Elf and Haruto to conflict when Haruto goes "KILL THEM ALL" mode.
