Theoretically, CB shouldn't CARE that terrorists are blowing up innocent people. Their job is to hurt people, not to save innocents. I think the event was triggered indirectly by Allelujah's rescue of civilians in space; it made it look like CB actually gave a damn about civilians when they weren't suppose to.

Once you care about civilians, the Terrorists would smell blood and think there's a weakness to exploit. CB would now have no choice but to declare war on this new terrorist group and possibly burn a few cities to the ground as a consequence.

Starting, perhaps, at a certain impoverished nation in need of foreign aid?

Judging from the episode itself, there's currently no indication that Allelujah's actions lead to this. The trigger was CB's overpowering domination of Moralia (and AEU).

I don't think the mysterious terrorist organisation expect CB to stand down - instead, they want to turn the world entirely against CB.

Ah, but if that's the case, then there is no problems at all, from Tieria's perspective. CB never needed public support to begin with. CB only had positive PR from an accident two episodes ago, and it never cared for it.

CB wanted to be feared, not loved.

Setsuna and Ali's relationship makes me think of Solidus Snake and Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2. The difference is that Setsuna is the one who killed his own parents, not Ali. Although it's Ali who made him do that. (In Raiden's case, Solidus killed Raiden's parents and make him become killing machine.)

Hmm, I have to see that, I was sure I saw a Long-Range type Tieren somewhere....hmm, maybe I should find a better quality video, the one I saw was pretty bad. Sorry about the confusion.

Exia does pick up the beam daggers it threw out last episode, and the 2 beam sabers it dropped. I guess Celestial Being are really careful

I was discussing the mysterious terrorist organisation's probable intentions, rather than Tieria's all-too-plain opinions.

From this organisation's point of view, CB is a "threat" to them in some way.

If CB back down, they win. If CB continues as normal then CB becomes universally hated, which hasn't been the case in genera so far. If they can stir up strong hatred against CB, that (in theory) makes their life harder since it should make other countries and organisations more aggressive against CB.

They may hope to destabilise CB a bit internally too.

However, Sumeragi (and Veda too it seems) look to have prediction this organisation's actions - it seems they already knew about the existence of such a organisation. Whether CB's long term plan means using this organisation or simply crushing them I've no idea.

Here's some pics for comparison.

Spoiler for Tieren on Ship and Tieren Long-Range Shooting Type:

It should be obvious from the fact that the shipbourne Tierens had heads when they were blown to smithereens that they were not Tieren LRST's.

Thanks! Now it makes sense. I thought the Virtue seemed a little overpowered if it was able to take rounds like that with only its armor. ( stupid, stupid, stupid)

Wow...Setsuna killed his own parents over an ideal? This guy's even more off the deep end than Heero Yuy was! Holy crap.

That's call the last hope. I guess Ali is someone he respect a lot. However, I'm a little bit confused here. Ali said something that relate to God when welcome those kids, but at ep 1, Setsuna said "There is no God in this world". Does that mean, he was betrayed?

Go Tieria!

The way he's acting right now, he would probably be more badass than all the other antagonists soon enough, seeing as how we have a righteous one and another obsessed with Gundams (thus far).
