I've gotta say that I actually quite like that OP song. It's a very nice summer-sounding song -- very nicely arranged. I'm probably not going to buy the OVAs (since I didn't buy the TV season either), but I'm definitely buying that OP single.

It'll be a while before the special is out on DVD and has its theme songs released. (The OP and first DVD aren't until November, the ED and second aren't until December), but I never passed up on watching Kanokon way back when, and I'm not going to now.

Upon looking to the official website for the OVA's BD/DVD releases, amongst other extras (including Chizuru's pasties, and a nice clear-skin case), there are screens for what looks to be yet another episode to be bundled extra in the BD/DVD release.
I saw these screens a while back and figured they were scenes from the recently aired OVA, but theyre not.
I'm not fluent in Japanese so i can't make out weather they're actually for an extra episode(s) or just hidden scenes or shorts.
Anyone know?

Just a single comment:
Producers should turn Kanokon into an ero anime, there is no point in being ashamed of their own perversions.

Sorry for novel fans but this is all I could realize based on the first tv season and ova.
I do recognize however that ep. 10 of the tv anime picked my curiosity.

I know I'ma sound like an idiot but I don't care. Where can I get the all the eps to this series? I really liked the OAV's, and reading the posts here, I saw there is a first season? TV? I thought I was missing something when I saw the girl with glasses being mad at the tall boy. Please help me find this anime!

Spoiler for OVA 1 - Kanomemo: The school year is over and summertime is here. Again. Between this and Arashi in the same day, I'm getting a lot of summer in my October. That said, a very peaceful episode that wouldn't have felt totally out of place in Kanamemo. Yes, even the erotic parts. Haruka does some crazy things. Pretty much everybody got an appearance, the mood was very relaxing, and the OP and ED were nice slow tunes that calm the mind. 5pb shows usually have good music, at least considering the sheer volume of songs from them I have on my playlist. The second OVA airs next week, so I'll be seeing you then!

Midonin Last Engage Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Florida	Let us resume. Spoiler for OVA 02 - The Rain Rain Rain Came Down Down Down: Summer days and rainy days, the line between them thin. Also, a convenient excuse for Chizuru to go au naturale. Other highlights include video camera vouyerism and fishing for food. Since they are two halves of the same story, overall, I'd say it was a nice little OVA. Conveyed the atmosphere of summer nicely enough, and gave screen time to everybody along with some fanservice. Couldn't ask for much else, really.
