Indeed she did. 430 votes is VERY impressive if we take into consideration of who she is up against. The Haruhi girls!!!!! The Rozen Maiden Girls!!! The magical Nanoha girls!!!! (And I forgot the Aria girls too^^;; ) Those are all extremely strong vote devours.

On average Kaede's total votes would give her 5th place across all the qualifying groups. And that's also quite impressive.

At a time Kaede was 2nd with 10 votes against someone else who had 12, I think it was 47. But as long as Kaede can manage to get to the final voting I'm happy.
