Not true. From Isnan's flashback, it was shown and mentioned that Solomon had 3 magi. Amon, Zagan and the rest were part of his court, but they were not magis. So even in Solomon's generation, there was only 3 magi.

The latest scanlated chapter (152) also adds a whole new layer to the Alma Toran's mystery, in addition to what was shown in Isnan's story.

You're right. Since the magi in the middle seems like Ugo-kun (and it's probably him), I kinda assumed all the other djinn were magi too. But yeah, it seems only Ugo-kun was a magi.

Pretty interesting theory. Aladdin's mother (as she appears in chapters 128 and 129) has a long braid, like all the magi till now, so maybe she is the moon magi after all (their braid look really similar too).

Given that the moon staff magi was shown to have been very close to King Solomon, he was probably blindsided.

Even more so if the theory that the moon magi being female is true.. could she had been Alma Toran's version of Gyokuen.

With the exception of Ugo, who IIRC is just a name given to him by Alladin, all other genies seem to be named after the 72 demons of Solomon's Ars Goetia

Alladin, Judal and Yunan certainly aren't names listed in the Ars Goetia

So I don't think magi are have an obligation to be genies. Unless of course they take a new name upon becoming one.

It should've made sense from the get-go when he asked Aladdin to go there as Sindria's Magi. Moreover, wouldn't any other King try do the same thing when you have the Kou Empire lurking like a wild beast under Al Sarmen and attempting to take over other countries like they did with Balbad?

Spoiler: I should also mention that I lol'd when Judal basically trolled Sinbad when he pretended to cry talking about his tragic past. Admittedly, I didn't like that guy at first, but now I think he's starting to grow on me, as well. I also kinda wouldn't be surprised to see him eventually turn into a literal demon like the other dark vessel users (even if he isn't a vessel user himself).....
