Regarding thou shall not kill, yes, one may not void it in case of complete monster.

I never said they should not kill even if the situation is dire enough, I just said that not everyone is ready to stain their hand with dead enemy's blood.

I was joking, I already said that I'm a man of law, twice even.

But someone, somewhere will do it, if the universe is THAT screwed up. Kill a killer, rape the rapist, use the mad scientist as guinea pig, Batman grabs a gun, grandpa superman use a gatling gun... etc....

This is why I stopped writing anything darker or more complicated than 'T-rated war' and 'T-rated angst', anything else just beyond my confidence.

Hate to say this, but I.S. are more dangerous when go evasive than being aggressive or defensive. If it's going to run, you need I.S. to catch it, anything else is too slow, unless we have a hypersonic combat aircraft functional, and then some.

As Yamada said, their greatest assets is their mobility.

No, a story without the writer pouring their drive onto it is mostly empty piece of literature.

But good enough writer can spill their emotion without destroying the integrity of the story.

Yes

There are cases like Evangelion where the sanity of the author affects it, but for most people it's separate. I'm not really a fan of too comedic stories, yet two of my mains are comedy.

@ Senpai - Would it be odd if someone shrugs of multiple headshots?

On a more serious note, assuming I.S. verse is normal but with more advanced science, that will still stick like a sore thumb.

FYI that hard skull on your forehead can deflect 9mm under certain circumstances, it's the brain behind it what will suffer and the reason you die.

However, as real life can prove, 'head shot' doesn't equal instant kill either, such as Simo Hayha survives being shot with antitank rounds, the round tear his cheek and broke his jaw, but he survive. Survive or not, it's up to where you get hit, and what hit you.
