Well, I'm too poor to buy stuff (long story) so would anyone be willing to write a bit of a summary of what basically happened storyline-wise in S1? If not, I understand

I can't really remember all that much though, but at least I still have a brief idea...

The first season is a mecha anime. The mechs inside are called AS.

Sagara belongs to this private, secret vigilante organisation called Mithril (headed by Tessa). As one of his missions, he was sent into Japan(given that he was a Japanese and around 16yrs of age) with the cover of a highschool student to be the bodyguard of Chidori.

Why Chidori? Because Chidori subconsciously has the knowledge of Black Technology, a very highly-sophiscated technology that is also the basis for the Lamda system used in the AS(can't remember what it does and which mech had it. Was it the Atlas?). How come Chidori has such knowledge was never explained clearly. As such, Chidori was the target of some rogue groups that wanted the information that was snugly in her head. Sagara's job was to protect her with the support of his squad (Melissa Mao, his squad leader and Kurz the resident sniper).

And so the story begins...

Edit : The story revolves around Sagara and Chidori's developing relationship and him protecting her against one such rogue organisation that had made moves to kidnap Chidori and steal the technology from her head.

OH! The Lambda Driver is a damn awesome weapon. Its like a force-field or something like tat. Can be used both for offense and defence. Kinda cool though. I've managed to seen up to episode 12 and so far, sagara can only manage to use the Lambda driver to a certain extent. I haven't seen fumoffu yet though....And the bad guys wanted Chidori so much cos she is a Whispered and its up to Sagara to rescue the "princess"...

I've watched some of the ADV dubs of FMP 1 on the cable Anime channel. The english voice actor used for Sagara just doesn't seem to fit the character very well. Hope they can find someone else when the time comes to dub FMP 2.

I don't know the total number of manga volumes, but see the link below for release dates of volumes 2 and 3, according to RightStuf:

I already have mine on pre-order...

Season 1 is based around development of plot line and inter-character relations, therefore it was a much more serious season with more action/mecha going on as opposed to comedy/relationship. Season 2, apply named Fumoffu is a bit of a spin-off so to say where there is a period of calm and the characters just go through some weird and funny mini-adventures.

The two are completely different things.

FMP2 has reached its conclusion..Chidori and Sagara are the same characters from the first season..First season was much much better in stroy wise while the second is a complete comedy relief..Just the first episode in FMP2 explain with the overview of the FMP1 that why the whole 2nd season series will be a comedy relief..Recommend you get the DVD's for the first season..
