It's the position of the hand. That position allows it to be put in some places that wouldn't be accessible if it was close to the body.

By the way, I just ordered one of the Shuffle! character albums, waiting for it to arrive.

another one.

Haha, that first pic is awesome. And I wonder who the secret on the second is .

I've got the Gashapon figurines (the ones with Asa laying down like some kind of hooker etc.) I might try and get a hold of the SD ones as I've quoted and some of the one's Rin-Kun posted.

Ama? It looks like she is wearing similar "hat".

*Looks closely at Tabris' sig*

Look at the smilies Tabris used, he probably knows who that is.
I'm guessing he's making fun of the advertisment.
Why bother labeling it as "secret" when it's so blatantly obviously who is was.

Anyways, I have the whole set of the chibis.
Pretty good quality for the price I paid for.
And of course the "secret" figurine is my favourite.

"MY PRECIOUS !"

The second Nerine model's so god damn detailed - that has a buy for any Nerine-fan - i just wonder how much it'll cost. ^^;;

I've got the Nerine Atelier-Sai model on pre-order ... kind of sad that its not in her school uniform (not really fond of the waitress outfit) but I've gotten to the part in the manga where she's showing her closet to Rin and its overflowing with cosplay outfits .... Forbesii just loves dressing his daughter up (though he shows no signs of lechery... he just seems to love dressing his daughter up).

That second model (the large image) ... was *apparently* a very limited edition model that sold for many hundreds of dollars.....
I've got a model kit based off of it (the clear model) ... but am saving it til I'm back up to speed in painting skills.

The first models (Asa and Nerine shown) .... I've been lurking but those items are sold out and no one seems to be reselling them.

I guess Forbesii's hobby of dressing his daughter is kind of like ... my wife gets to buy all the cool loli-gothiness and I like helping her look for things because its fun ... but I'm just stuck with the Victorian Vampire Top Hat look since the emo look makes me hwarf.

We're on the hunt now for little skull hairties for pigtails like the ones Kooh wears in Pangya.

That Nerine figure (school uniform image), I understand the painting techniques used but I'd sure like to know how that "translucent" hose look was achieved.
The more I look at the photo .... the more it looks like just the clear kit with a *very*professional paintjob. The front hairpiece, bow, and skirt are all that "clear" material. I suppose it was the paintjob that made it so valuable...

If ya'll are discussing the Atelier-Sai line .... those are the 1/8 models being released right now (Sia - December, Kaede - January, Nerine February). The other models were released ?last summer? .... beginning to look like all the finished Nerine models are going to be "cosplay" oriented... rats...

I refuse to start this Nerine kit til I understand how to paint hose properly...

It wouldn't be too bad in my opinion. Of course, I doubt I'd get it to look that good, but highlights and lowlights etc. aren't too bad from what I remember of painting models.

Looking a bit more at it, that's a really good job.

Kind of a bump note... I managed to get a copy of the LE 2nd DVD with Nerine's CD on it... it also comes with a bizarre little "game"? "screensaver" thing where a chibi Nerine walks about in a room... wierd.

I like the Witchcraft tune for Nerine's little fireball side.... have to browse about the series and see where that is used..

My brother received this pic as part of a shop's update, I don't see it posted yet though, so might as well post it. It's somewhat fuzzy though.

Heh... that package just arrived in the mail today .... I'd completely forgotten I'd ordered it. The figurettes are about 3" high. It came with 8 figures but its the four girls X2 with diffferent color outfits (e.g. Nerine in a white swimsuit and a dark blue swimsuit).

I guess I can have a shrine at work and at home ... ... ...

yeah, I'd like to have the Nerine in gymsuit and bandaids figure but I've tried to order it twice now only to have the vendor 'fess up and admit they didn't actually *have* it in stock. Apparently the Nerine Atelier-Sai waitress figure is sold out --- HLJ now says its unavailable --- glad I pre-ordered it.
