Summary
Akira Nikaido is a typical slacker high school student who thinks he has a normal life–until a mysterious man called Shirogane appears and tells him to meet him at the school that night. He is skeptical but goes anyway…and gets attacked by a shadow monster! Shirogane convinces him that the balance between the human world and the shadow world has been distorted, and that Akira must become a shin–a creature of the shadow world–in order to help restore the balance.

I was able to take a peek at the manga of this before, and it looks promising 8D

I guess I'm weak against supernatural stuff like this, especially when it's loaded with bishies! XD
The Shin-persona alter-ego of Akira is also an interesting aspect of this show~ aside from the "you have 2 bishies in 1!" factor of course :P

For some reason, the artwork looks somewhat discouraging in comparison with the manga, but I'll leave it at that. Besides, the story had been somewhat interesting to what I've managed to read up to so far, so it might be worth a watch, especially for those who want a shounen fix.

Oh, just saw this thread sitting in page 4 and thought I'd bump it up seeing as it's going to be airing tonight. The voice cast is indeed strongly drawing me to catch this series. The promo video on the other hand...well, I'll stick to old adage, you can't judge a book by its cover so I'll just have to wait and see how they adapt the manga, which by the comments above suggest it's pretty divided either you like it or not.

If the manga eventually turns into a Shonen ai then ok, but if it's going to follow 1st volume they added crap that doesn't happen.
