This episode was just so good just as painful as it was, since I couldn't bear watching Kotonoha in that schizophrenic trance speaking of the good, old days with Makoto as she was dialing her cellphone and there was no answer in an off-put way.
Makoto has become into a nasty fellow. A bastard and son of a b**** who deserves no pity or forgiveness. Honestly, what come into Sekai, Otome, and Hikari's minds? They didn't physically slap him so that he could pull out of his immaturity.
What was Hikari thinking about just passing by at Makoto's to persuade him to go and comfort the poor and broken Sekai? She just got sway by that womanizer and let him "in".
Makoto couldn't care less about Sekai's baby, which is another issue. His scum and trash, but Sekai shouldn't have gotten too intimate either with him from the start. After all she was the one who kept encouraged him to date Kotonoha, and the one who taught him how to treat a lady but look what happened.
Of course, I am not plastering the burden of the fault on Sekai. It is Makoto's attitude and selfishness which earned that blow.
He only care about his harem growin up by numbers and get laid off with as many pretty girls as his eyes could pry or stopping at his place.
It became a roller coaster of raging hormones stepping out of control and running berserk.

Of course, Sekai finally drops at school and lashes out the bomb on Makoto's face that she's pregnant with his baby in front of all the classroom for everyone to hear, then word quickly spreads throughout the school like wildfire.
He becomes an unwanted center of attention. Obviously, the bitches trio stop meeting him because they do not want to be associated with him for the Sekai incident, as well as not having accident ending up like Sekai, all pregnant.
Hikari for the same reason either but also she understood that Makoto is a bastard and a swindler and no matter how she much attempted to make him grow sense he only cares for himself and nothing about Sekai, and more since she's expecting his child.
Finally, I must praise Otome. Although what she did to Sekai by sleeping with Makoto in the gym is not forgiveable, her decision to break off him and split to never see him again was both a wise and consequential one.
She became awared that made foul play to Sekai and wrong her. She stopped at Makoto's for a last time to urge him to go to Sekai's place and comfort her for what he has done. But instead, he whines that is not his responsibility and burden and why everyone's imposing on him.
That was the last straw which made Otome to make her choice to forget about him and moving on. When she threw the picture of her together with him back from middle school I praised her action.
He shattered that image that Otome had about him back from middle school.
With his harem running low on ladies he grows angry, and destiny played either foul or fair to him because met Kotonoha by chance at the square.
When he witnessed with horror Kotonoha's mental breakdown the cheater started crying like pussy realizing what he had done by neglecting her all this time and couldn't bear the weight of his sin.
The bastard finally gives in and apologizes to Kotonoha learning from her that she truly has loved from the very first day that they date.
Therefore, Makoto made his mind to take responsibility for Kotonoha and start loving her again, thus making her deteriorated mental state to achieve a miraculous recovery, but at the same time setting a fatal fuse for the climax on the final episode.
