It's not so much that it is limited (although I'm sure they didn't make a ton of them, maybe a couple hundred thousand) it's just that in general the only place you can order it from is a site that is basically Japanese only. I don't even know if they ship outside of Japan or not, and they don't have any other language options on their site to make it easier to order for someone who can't read Japanese. That doesn't mean it's impossible to get a hold of outside of Japan of course, just a lot harder and will cost more unless you get lucky and find a 3rd party retailer who has already gone through all the work to get it (which then raises issues with price and the fact that you should only be able to order it on that one site or in their stores... so is it real or a rip-off?)

its not that Signum is not looking , dont get me wrong, its just the price doesnt match what it gives. I'll still get it however since Alter is the one that produces nice figures for sale. |

Hmmm... I could have sworn it was the same price, but then again when I priced out the Hayate it was awhile ago and I was going off memory rather then looking it up lol.
As for the price and buying it, while I do think the price (for both really) is a bit high, these both look great and are some of the ONLY pvc statues (and probably the better looking for Signum) of these characters. That right there makes them a must have for fans of the series who collect the figurines. Even if the price is a bit more, the rarity and quality of these make up for it some.

Kid Nemo now has the Alter Signum figurine for pre-sale.
As for Hobby Link Japan getting their Hayate figurine up for pre-sale, I think I'll just go with Kid Nemo by the end of August or sometime during August. If I do have enough, I might just get the Signum figurine as well...Kid Nemo also got the Rein Zwei figurine as well...I thought it was already sold out. The only thing that I'm looking for now is the Figma Fate figurine...thing is sold out everywhere. |

I think some of ya'll are forgetting the dollar has fallen in value like a paralyzed falcon in comparison to the yen. This time last year it was worth 120ish yen/$ .... now its a good day if it hits 105yen/$
Anyway, placed my Signum pre-order with cdjapan.co.jp and used my pile of discount points. She'll constitute my first order of 2009. At this rate, I'll have to devote an entire shelf just to Nanoha characters with all their weaponry and swirling capes and 1/7th-ness. (Nanoha, Fate, Vita, Signum)
